I gave Porsche GB (& thence GmbH presumably) feedback on my 987 after a stone chip cause my aircon system to start leaking (the venting from the nose was rather dramatic !). The aircon rad sits in front of the left/right wheels so are (were) somewhat vulnerable to stone damage. Not the stuff that Paris Dakkar Porsches were made of. I made a similar remark to Porsche suggesting that with very little engineering, mesh would protect other owners befalling a similar fate. Whilst I'm sure Porsche have lots of input in evolving their designs, I like to think I hand a very small role to play in the protective mesh that you show @ 3:03

@P P got the fact right as you said. The newest version is equipped with particle filters on the exhaust which the 981 doesn't have. This is why the 718 won't even come close to the 981 in regard ti the sound.... get your facts right for yourself :)
@P P There's no aftermarket exhaust for the 718 yet! Ah ok...you're right. I'm a dumbass, no nothing and thaught it would be turbocharged. NOT! It's the fucking same engine than the 992 carrera S but stroked to 4.0 and WITHOUT the fucking turbos

Why did you not go with the Yellow dials and clock ??? Would of matched the stitching and calipers, I have them in yellow on my new 718 , look amazing !!! But they would of looked awesome on yours with the Yellow 12 o'clock wheel marker as well...mistake that having them in White !! Too many colours going on in there...get them changed too yellow !!

Very nice and pretty but just slow for me, I like to go fast from a stop, I grew up flying a cbr 600 and I'm just addicted to the GeForce of taking off, and of course I always like to win so I'll stick to the 911 turbo s for now.

Nice machine, but I really can't get over this tacky exhaust tips and rear diffuser. Those looked much better in previous GT4 with central exhaust tips.
I really love Porsche but I really hate this exhaust layout. The cutouts in the bumper are far to big for exhaust tips
I am just so not a fan of straps for door handles.I don't understand it.
You save a pound or two of weight per handle relatively high up on the car. Does it make that big of a difference? Almost certainly not, but it all adds up in the end, I guess.

"Very very high spec car" no clubsport package, no bucket seats, no racing harnesses... imho these are essential options for the GT4, who cares about the bose sound system and the dual zone climate control. This is a manual gearbox car mean for the pure driving experience, not a gt for long travels in comfort

That was a 911R not a GT3 Touring package. That’s one huge problem with Porsche. People can’t tell the difference between a base 911 $100,000 car and a $300,000 car. That’s why people buy Ferrari’s and Lamborghinis.

nothing ....Mercedes.... great engines, and sound... and great front design but inside it's too rich almost Barocco, I don't like the long i-pad inside and the tails are something that not fit with the rest of the car... GT4 out of this world...if could have also a shorter gears will be perfect for the road...

lazy OPD spec. No stitched leather steering wheel column and no black aluminium interior (which is exclusive to this model) rather than the horrid faux tartan plastic (aka carbon fibre) and didn’t get the full leather back seats, meaning that horrid fake silver plastic. Amazing car, but a lazy spec.

Gorgeous but slow can’t break 4 secs 0-60. If you are building a GT car you should be concerned with lap times and it needs PDK. I know not as much fun but really a $150,000 GT Porsche that can’t break 4 secs is a huge disappointment.
Good thing pdk is coming. Waiting to possibly swap my Spyder out for one of those.
