steve perry and his band journey went their 'separate ways', journey needed 'lights' like a lead singer to keep the band going and with journey's motto 'don't stop believin' they found arnel in the 'city of hope' and welcomed him into the band with 'open arms' so arnel 'faithfully' stood with the band. now 'after all these years' arnel still sounds great 'any way you want it'

arnel is the 'real' rockstar movie in real life, from covering songs of the group till he became lead singer of the group, just like the movie rockstar.

You do know Rockstar was a true story right? It was about Tim ripper Owens, the guy that replaced Rob halford when he left Judas Priest. Which is what steel Dragon was in the movie. They had to Chang the names, because Judas priest backed out of the movie because they wanted final say on the music and producers said no. It was originally called " metal gods".

This song is one of a kind. Awesome music and very meaningful lyrics! I love it so much that this beautiful song was sang live during our renewal of vows in our Church which was done a few months before our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The lyrics was so intense, it moved me to tears.
