This is a stunning offering from Cadsien I like they used a silicone strap the worst thing that we could do is get a metal bracelet
Cheers Sixto, I totally agree about the strap. I really didn't like the look of the bracelet with the polished centre links ... and that Rlx style of clasp is a really bad match with a Seiko homage. Thanks for watching mate.
This is a very appealing watch for all the reasons you discuss. I don't mind the high polish on a 'skindiver' because I will wear it with casual evening wear- not casual necessarily, but not suit and tie formal.
I do wish they'd make the printing and logo just slightly smaller, and I wish the rehaut/ chapter ring had sub seconds marked, but other wise it looks like a nice watch- especially for the money they ask!

I like placing misaligned bezel markers on the 3 o’clock mark. I also feel that it looks better too even with aligned bezels, and shows that the bezel is really being used

I ordered one. Like the size, have a Steeldive that’s 42mm it’s a bit big, it’s the 62 mas also. Era of large watches. Most of my watches are 32mm and 36mm hits the sweet spot for me. My divers collection are mostly 38-40mm. Thank you for this content.

Of all the colors they offer this watch in I think I like this one the best. I agree with your choice to opt for the strap. 👍🏻
Definitely my pick of the colours as well. I also like the grey one but it looks like they've used gunmetal grey hands, same as my off-white one, so the legibility looks a bit of an issue. Really enjoying it on the strap, I think they wear much better on the 62MAS case shape. Thanks for watching!

It’s a beauty, I have a slight preference for the gray dial, but looks great. Haven’t bought a Cadisen for a while, that may have to change… great work

Hopefully got one of these on the way and glad to see it looks pretty good for the price point. Nice to Cadisen making a comeback with some new stuff. They went a bit stagnant for a while, so great to see. Will be interesting to see how it stacks up against some others.
Thanks for watching mate. I've now spent about 2 days wearing it and it's not perfect, there's a few things to discuss in the full review but these need to be counter-balanced against the competitive price. Overall, it's running well, it wears really well and I really like the looks of this one.
Looks like a good value piece! Their new C8206M model looks nice as well, it's like a cheaper version of the San Martin 38mm vintage diver.

Cheers, I really like the colour combo on this one. I'm going to see if I can re-align the bezel insert, as it's only slightly out. Hopefully, it's just my watch effected. On the bright side, at least it isn't a £1K Seiko, lol 😁

I clicked the link in the description. It's cadisen official store in AliExpress. The watch shown in photos is this skindiver but the watch short description below says it has an ISA quartz movement. And the photos of the previous buyers show a cadisen homage to a Tissot chronograph. What a mess for an official store. I don't feel confident in buying there in those conditions.
Anyway I wait for your review.
I understand what you are saying. It looks as though they've replaced an old watch (a TSST homage) with this new watch, on the same link. I can see the seller has now created a new link, just for the new watch, so I've created an alternative link in the video description. Shame about the alignment and the bracelet .. always like the option of a decent bracelet ... plus much easier to get a silicone strap than a bracelet as an alternative.

It's a nice alternative to the other 62MAS homages. 38 mm is my favourite case size. But seeing this watch I couldn't shake the feeling that something's wrong about it. It's thr flat sapphire crystal. 62MAS homages normally come with some domeage on the crystal, for example a box domed crystal.
Yup. But this is also the cheapest out there.
Thanks for watching Alex, I agree it's a nice alternative. I also appreciate a domed crystal on a 62mas homage. I guess that Cadisen were trying to keep the price down by using a flat crystal instead. I do have to admit though, it's a change to have a NH35 diver that's as thin as this one.

I like that a lot , be better with the name gone and just the logo IMHO.
Nah. Too much people are trying to take off the brand names this days. Some are justified but in this case the name of the brand is short and sounds good IMO.
My new pagani has the applied shield logo. Way better looking than the oneswith the printed shield and the whole phrase Pagani Design
@@brixquinonez Yes. But "pagani design" is a long name. Unlike Cadisen. Just look at the recognized brands. People doesnt complain that much about their names. For example Rolex. the logo and the name.
The logo is not lined up with the 12 o'clock marker, it would drive me crazy! Other tjen that the watch is gorgeous.
Their logo is an awkward shape and I'd prefer it if Cadisen stopped using it completely. Thanks for watching 👍👍
How does this compare to other 62MAS homages out there?
Not as good quality as the San Martin or the Seestern IMO but it's a fair bit cheaper. I really like it so far, despite a few shortcomings, to discuss in the full review. The dial colour really atrracted me to this one, I think it looks awesome on a vintage style divers watch like this.
Is prefer a pure white dial. I agree about the polished sides of the case and I hate polished center links on bracelets--really out of character on this watch.
A bit more brushing on this one would definitely have been appreciated. Thanks for watching!

Now tested the lume overnight in a very dark room. I could still read the time at 5AM, after lights off at 22:30.

Nice watch, but you should have warned of the ugly flat crystal which killed it for me.
I like domed crystals as well .... but some people don't, as they add to the thickness of the watch. Thanks for watching.
