And i was so shocked to hear that you only get paid flight times that has to be the biggest insult i have ever heard about anybodys job. I remember when I was doing six flights one day and I got confused and said we will shortly be departing for Amsterdam. Everyone stood up and was about to leave. We were going to Spain. Airport code was not similar. At all.

I just came across this channel. This is a really cool look into the life of a flight attendant. My uncle actually works for AA as a FA, based out of DFW, but I've never had the chance to ask about the particulars like these before so this is awesomely educational!

Hah, that's amusing that you were here during the storm. I lost power during the storm. It was horrible. We weren't even supposed to get hit. Gotta love Missouri weather surprises.
How funny, you were in my neck of the woods. I live in a suburb of Kansas City. And yes we had a major snow storm last weekend. Some people are still without power. Looks like you went to or stayed at the Westin Crown Center. That place is gorgeous during Christmas. We use to always go down and walk around when the kids were little. Hopefully you don't find yourself here again this weekend because we are expecting another snowstorm.

This reminded me of the time I flew into MCI for my grandmother's funeral about 10 days before xmas several years ago. The weather was fairly mild when I got there and I had a medium weight jacket. By the day of the funeral it was snowing heavily and we literally had her burial in the middle of a blizzard. I still managed to get some Bryant's bbq during that trip, so it all worked out. That's kansas city for ya!

Omg. I flew out of Kansas City before Christmas. It was a nightmare getting through security. I waited longer in that line than at any other airport, including big airports. Also, you went to Kansas City whenever half the country was getting hit with snow. It was a big storm! Thankfully, you were able to get home!

Hey! I enjoy your channel! I'm in the reservation call center for a major canadian airline (until I can transfer for FA). Mixing airport code like that is a pet peeve for me! Thankfully MCO is such a popular destination that I never forgotten it!

That looks like Crown Center in KC. Used to work for a Hallmark store and we went to KC for training and we stayed at the Hyatt. It was February so the enclosed skywalks were great. you could walk between the hotels, IBM's building, Crown Plaza (shopping mall owned by Hallmark, and Hallmark's offices without going outside.
The funny thing is it's freezing in Orlando too đđ It was 45 this morning.

I love your posts. LOL You seem to enjoy your job and are always smiling which is good. Just applied for a FA position with another airline. I have a question. It says on the job requirements if hired, you will be assigned to a base. It is strictly random pick meaning you could end up being assigned anywhere? I know this also may vary from carrier to carrier. Can you commute to your home city if you want to until you are ready to completely relocate? I'd appreciate any information. Thanks

I've just started watching these and they are so interesting. Do you ever have trouble falling asleep in strange places all the time. I don't think I could do that.
