@@StetsonDoggett It make it a better in value then t mobile premium plans. if you're have more lines you save even more . More priority data 4k streaming more hotspot data also. if I understand it right I might be wrong you get the autopay and paperless discount. Then a multiple line discount plus 10 dollars off per line up to 5 lines. Then it goes down to 5 dollars a line with 6 of more lines up to 10 lines.

I left t-mobile and took 3 people with me. Visible beats them all at $25 for unlimited data and unlimited hotspot. Watching this video at 1080p while streaming another video on a connected iPad pro11” and streaming Sirius to a second phone connected to a vehicle . Then I’m doing Speedtests and getting 80+ down and 17 up. Who cares what cellphone name is on the service . Does it work for you and how much does it cost are the only two questions you need to ask. I don’t choose anything based on how good their customer support is because I don’t want to talk to any of them anyway. Does it work YES ...customer support is moot . Is it the cheapest while still working YES . Problem solved . The people who pay these prices for junk add on services and fluff also pay for the other people using the same network who pay next to nothing to use. Keep paying please....I’m sure that Rerunflix sun is totally worth it.

Currently switching from Metro 2GB $30 a month to Mint for $15/month for 4GB it's just not close. I don't use much data because I am either home or use the WiFi where I am at. People paying for unlimited should look at what they are using and can they use WiFi. The data I use is listening to the radio on the road because I like what I like to listen to and like the convenience of not having to constantly change radio stations. Traffic with the GPS is also convenient too. These differences can be your entire phone bill. Or for example one person uses unlimited data they can have it and everyone else doesn't need to pay to have it.

Thanks for the video! I left AT&T several years ago. They were horrendous. In the beginning my bill was under $100 for one line then it shot over $100. I became eligible for an AARP discount. I went into the store and had them apply the discount. Two months later my fees went up the amount I saved. Also, the international roaming is a rip off. For 10 days in Europe I had to pay a full month. I dropped them and went to sprint. My coverage is fine and International roaming was pay as you go. A week for unlimited everything was $15. Now I'm hearing nightmares of sprint customers getting T-Mobile SIM cards that don't work well.

Switched to T-Mobile from Verizon when they started their Uncarrier marketing. I could tell immediately what Legere's strategy was. Slash prices, snag customers, dump all money into improving and expanding the network, and then raising prices once parity with Verizon was reached.
I jumped ship to snag some of those early plans. Now I have 4 lines of unlimited talk/text/data with 14gb of high speed hotspot and unlimited slower speed hotspot after that with the same 50gb deprioritization rule as Magengta(+) plans. All for the flat price of $100/mo, taxes and fees included. $25/line.
I'm also an over the road trucker and I have good service every night when I stop. That's also partly because I know where the good and bad reception is at. But watching T-Mobile light up new areas with new service over the last 5 years or so was great. I play World of Warcraft, PUBG and Xbox games every single night in my truck whether I'm parked at truck stop outside Chicago or at a rest area in the middle of Kansas. The service is better than my home internet service more often than not and has been for years now.

I've been with Tmobile for 17 yrs. In 2012 I had purchased a home in Delaware near Rehoboth Beach which I had until 2015 before moving back to NY. Not only was the service horrible for this tourist beach area but Tmobile threatened to drop me as a customer as I my phone was roaming when it occasionally tapped into AT&T towers. They had absolutely no Tmobile stores in the Sussex area of Delaware which was about one third of the State because their service was nonexistant there. That third comprised the Rehoboth Beach area and also new homes for residents fleeing the Tristate area. Many new residents had to go with AT&T or Verizon. It was the standing joke when you ventured into an AT&T store when you were asked if you currently had Tmobile service before you even said a word. How can you have no service in the Rehoboth Beach area which attracts thousands of tourists and vacationers from all over this country? Hopefully they have gotten better in that location.

    • @StetsonDoggett
      @StetsonDoggett  Před 3 lety

23:51 How did you calculate a $480/yr save for Mint & US?
    Magenta: $35/p/mo = $140/mo = $1680/yr.
    Mint & US: $30/mo = $360/yr.
    That's a $1320 save per year.
I understood the math for Metro though.

I recently switched from Verizon to T-Mobile and I’ve had no issues at all. I love T-Mobile Tuesday’s I’ve been getting 10 cent off gas every Tuesday since I signed on. Not to mention I’m in one of the states with the best 5G coverage, and lets not forget the price. The plan I have is the Magenta Max and I love the perks and services included. Coverage is good for me, but it does get spotty in some areas and buildings. However the service does not drop out if it does I switch over to WiFi. Now with rural coverage it gets very spotty I hear but to the rural places I’ve been my phone has had LTE coverage.

I have had At&T I left them cause when my devices got stolen even though they were covered they never sent out a replacement nor stopped and put them as stolen so my bill was racking up and they wanted me to pay for devices I didn't have nor was getting back .
I then switched to Sprint was with them for 3 years ( I had no issues with sprint whatsoever I would still be with them if T mobile hadn't bought them out) T mobile bought them out then my service in my own home was 1 bar at the least I always had to have wifi calling on to be able to take or recieve any phone calls while at home.
When I was outside my house I was only getting two bars 3 if I was lucky. And to top it all off I was getting spam phone calls like crazy.
I've been with Verizon for 4 months haven't had anything but compliments.... No issues... Everything works... Bill is good for the coverage I get and hulu, disney+, ESPN & apple music for 6 months hell fuckin yeah.
    T mobile is absolute shit.

I had tmobile about 2 and a half years ago and about 3 or 4 years prior . I switched to Verizon because a new job had me in an area only verizon has service in. No other major carriers had service there. But that same job now has me in another area and now I'm thinking about getting the v60 for tmobile and trying it out. Coverage maps show good t mobile coverage though most of my job sites are always in the middle of nowhere . I am hoping the 66 and 71 bands that my old t mobile phones didn't have will make this worth it.

Just some “would be nice” comments:
When comparing Verizon & ATT plans against the Magenta plan for customers in New York, taxes and fees on a 4 line plan are an additional $20/mo ballpark. That’s a $240 / year savings before factoring in the base price. It would also be nice to factor in line promotions at time of publishing. T-Mobile often has “Free 3rd Line” on Magenta Family Plans $140/mo No Tax,and Essentials $105/mo + Tax.
T-Mobiles promotions on top of no taxes and fees, compared against Verizon and ATT rates WITH TAX , are drastically different numbers.
Loving the video style by the way, super clean, giving all the realistic and relevant information on the difference in the cheaper options , like reduced speeds.

I switched from T-Mobile to ATT and haven’t looked back. ATT coverage is better in my area. I have 10 business lines with ATT for $40 per line. But hey it gives them time to improve their software if they think about it since they can't improve their tower hardware for now. But I also see T-mobiles home internet plan is not that bad as well and might try it in the future.

I read a lot of comments on the T-Mobile community site where people say they were scammed b/c they were promised a certain amount for a trade-in prmo (e.g. $500 for an iPhone 8 trade), submitted their phone in good working condition, only to be told a few months later that the trade value is only something like $50, and that's all they'll be getting (because of some made up excuse like supposed water in device (false), or other defect that wasn't there).
My question is, do they always make good on the promise to give bill credits to make up the difference between the market trade value and the promised credit (in this example, it would be $450)? Or do they often try to scam you out of giving what they promised?

I think it’s important to capitalize on the fact that not only does Verizon offer the best coverage with both LTE and 5G Nationwide & UW technology, but the perks that comes with these plans are phenomenal. Apple Music for one person is $9.99. Hulu is $6.99. The highly popular and growing Disney+ is $12.99. Discovery+ and ESPN+ are the cheapest $4.99 a month. Verizon isn’t just very competitively priced, but they will completely take over your subscriptions with other service providers and that starts saving money in other places. All of a sudden, it seems like you’re paying more for T-mobile and AT&T....
