I upgraded my GT bamboo to the carbon. I instantly fell in love with the first hard acceleration. It’s pricey but if you can afford it you won’t regret it
Great video, I just got my Hadean Bamboo. I’m 6 foot 6 inches 200 pounds and I’m still able to hit 26mph (at least at 70-100 percent battery) pretty easily without many speed wobbles. I usually just carve around 20 mph always on Corsa(need that slingshot acceleration). Coming from even the GTR, it rides so well and it is nice that when you release the acceleration at high speeds it doesn’t just feel like a sudden stop. It kind of cruises to a stop. About to throw on some 6 inch pneumatics on with 47 gear tooth for the higher max speed.
Thanks Man!! They really fine tuned the acceleration curves on the Hadean! I love that burst of speed on Corsa too! I am thinking of changing the pneumatics to street wheels for a while to try it out. I am glad you are enjoying it!
Great review brother! I’ve had my bamboo Hadean for close to one month now. I absolutely love it. Super smooth acceleration and braking. The flex and pop during carving and turning is amazing. The only problem I’ve had is the same as yours. My motor clips kept popping out but is a non issue now with the cable ties.

same. very small thing. BUT most companies dont even clip/tie them down lol. they jus kinda sit there… glad ur happy with ur hadean. now i jus need some decent weather 😆
Now that you've had the hadean awhile, do you have any issues other then the motor wire clips ? Did evolve provide a fix for the wire retention or any other problems ?
@@LORFCASTER no issues.. sent it out for the software update and the esc enclousure recall. the motor cable mount isnt a big deal to me so i didnt even think about telling them to fix it while they had it.. i should have tho.

It would be a hard decision for me too. It’s just that I already Preordered the Evolve and then the meepo hurricane came out a month or so later. I hope you are having fun with yours! I can’t wait to try the GT and see how it compares to the evolve on the trail I’m hitting. Thanks dude!!!
@@HappyFunnyGaming I'm having a blast. 2 very distinctive rides. As much as I'm loving the Hurricane, I've still found time to squeeze in that therapeutic one wheel ride every day unless it rains lol... I'm looking forward to trying out the 120mm wheels, gonna stick with the street on the Hurricane and the trails with my OneWheel 😁.

I have an unlimitedxloaded kit on a coyote deck. I love that it is modular and can throw it on any deck. But I'm bummed unlimited went out of business and parts are gonna get harder to come by. I'm looking to get the street version of the Hadean with the all-terrain conversion kit.

Nice review! I like the mention of the loudness of the charger and that the board DOESN'T come with bash guards, these two features alone could easily be a make or break deal for some perhaps, regardless Im leaning to purchase the bamboo Hadean for the carving and Im curious on the trigger remote which visually looks like having the seperate brake on top feature would make it safer to engage the brake on the fly so to speak, Im comfortable with the thumb dial remote on my Meepo V4 and only would like to experience a trigger remote to see which I'd prefer 🤔 Love the video footage when you were out on the trails , might you share your location ?
I like the trigger and separate breaking. I like how the remote doesn’t feel cheap like my meepo. The trail is the Napa Bay trail in Northern California.
@@HappyFunnyGaming I suppose since the Meepo V4 was the first board I purchased I have to make sure to look at it from the perspective of nothing to compare it too, small world as I'm next town over in Vallejo 🤙

Does the board still go to idle if you tap the breaks while accelerating? The brakes were terrible on the GTR, strong but awful programming like that. Need a gradual curve, not cut to idle, that's a joke

Hi can someone please tell me if it's normal for the board to rub on wheels when turning? Got my new hadean board and deck rubs on wheels when I turn sharp.

Hi! I was thinking about the carbon, but the reason why I decided the bamboo was because I didn’t need another stuff board.
The bamboo carves better because of the flex so it is a different riding experience. I don’t weigh too much so if I get the bamboo, the board wont scrape on the ground when I put regular wheels. One reason why people get the carbon is because of that reason. If you weigh too much, the board will flex a lot and some people don’t like that.
Also, the carbon has more stability off road since it doesn’t flex. So you know that the board will be the same under your feet.

Since you had a stiff board previously, what are your thoughts between the 2? I don’t think I would even have considered bamboo bc that carbon looks so good but it looks like ppl who have the bamboo really enjoy it.
@@HappyFunnyGaming I weigh 200lbs and don’t see myself going off-road much, mainly carving like the onewheel.So in theory the Bamboo fits my style more with the carving but my weight may be a factor. Does the carbon carve well?

Slow piece of dangerous shit. Competition, any other board is superior. I'm sorry you wasted your money and I hope nothing dangerous happens with the motor controller. Just avoid E at all costs.
Well what board do you suggest then? I want to get my first electric longboard but dont want a peice of sh*t. Seems all boards have their quirks.
