Many people don’t know this but the second movement was actually called the bowel movement because Beethoven wrote it while sitting on the toilet deficating after eating a large meal of wiener schnitzels in Vienna

@@NuriZiya2005 I had thought better of Simon Rattle. I have listened to his full rendition of the 9th, and it all feels so rushed, in all movements. I kept thinking, "Is this a joke? Did Spike Jones get hold of the score?" There is a range of tempo that has to feel right to the listener. This isn't it. But that's me.
