I just bought a house recently in Stockton-on-Tees. I was born and raised in London my whole life. Its such a big move for me. But I just want to settle down. The music in this video makes me think of it as my new home. Currently stuck in London still due to coronavirus. Hope this town welcomes me and makes me feel at home.
Hi MrWatchme1989 , i dont know what part of Stockton your moving to but most of the places around here are good , and i am sure you will settle fine . like anywere you go some places are better than others . good luck on the move and stay safe . a.t.b. Terry
@@videosrusuk it's TS18 on the postcode. Got no idea what the different areas are in Stockton lol. I've had people ask me what area is it. But have no idea.
It’s a better lifestyle than London! I worked in London for a while. What a headache. Unfriendly people, and all around stress. Here I can be at the seaside in less than 30mins. Newcastle and lots of fun places in a short drive. The lifestyle is so much stress free and fun in the north east. There’s too much traffic and headache even in Manchester, Lancashire coast.
@@hanniffydinn6019 nice. For all we know we may be living in the same estate. Mine is a newly built house right near Lidl. BTW what area does ts18 come under? I have people always asking and I have no idea what to say.
I expect to move here in around two months, I see hope in the future of this place and a potential that is being recognised via investment....I live in Luton and the place is dying, and nobody seems to care.
I'm proud to be from Stockton and have lived there all my life. There are always some less desirable places and people in every town, but I like Stockton...a lot. Question.. The video names a bridge as Brown's Bridge, I know the road bridge in Newtown over Lustrum Beck as Brown's Bridge. Are there 'two', or is there a mistake on the video?
I'm moving my family here. It seems so affordable and I like the attractions and events they run. It's worrying but I'm excited too. I've been living in Peterborough for the last six years so it deffo can't be any worse!!
Soon for myself as well, Stockton has a rare charm that many people seem to miss. I am coming from Luton which has been deteriorating at such a pace that I fear for its future...Peterborough seems to have gone the same way. I see that your post was 11 months ago, please, if you get the time let me know if you are glad you moved to Stockton, I would appreciate it very much Katt.
@@Quartermoon193 hi, I've moved to Easington. It's so much better than Peterborough. Yes I know exactly what you're talking about there! I'd say go for it. What have you got to lose?
@@kateleahmarie Thank you for the message, and you are quite right, what do I have to lose? If you lived in Luton then you would know as I do......not much to lose Katt.
