My only suggestion for everyone is that it's very Easy to separate the carbs so you can easily access everything you just have to take pictures of your connector rod and tubes
This tutorial is SO WELL DONE! I've got a 1982 CM450C that I bought from the original owner in 2019 after it had been in storage since 1997. I did a bunch of maintenance but haven't touched the carbs because it always ran fine. I was terrified of tearing into them. Thanks to this video, I'm gonna clean my first set of carbs!

Hey man, I just wanted to say that I purchased my first bike a 1986 cb450sc , and this video helped me out a ton. Can't thank you enough for this. I haven't seen a video this detailed regarding 450carbs anywhere. I'm still working on the carb and will be replacing the screws with Allen heads since I stripped the ones on it since I didn't have a JIS. Either way pls keep making these videos. Maybe a carb sync tutorial vid? 😬😬They'll help people like me haha. Thanks Again!
Hi trip, do you have an 86 cmx450? I bought one but the hoses for the carb were all removed and would appreciate if you could show how yours are routed
I am missing the small o ring on the accelartor pump on mine. What is the measurement of it? I dont want to spend alot of money on a kit when i only need a single o ring.
Do you do carb rebuilds for others? I attempted to do a rebuild on a carb set on a 1983 CM450A and I do not think I re-assembled it properly because I cannot get it to run correctly. I have since gotten a used carb from another bike to use on my bike but I want to re-install the original carb to keep the bike original. Thanks. Tony.

How’d it go? Picked one up too and she’s got a high/ rough idle, she’s in need of cleaning. Kinda scared tho it’s my first motorcycle 😂
