I've been told by my pharmacist that my GP Surgery will not provide further prescriptions and that I will have to register with the NHS online to get them. Is this correct?
I've read it's only supposed to take a few hours for them to verify your ID but ive been waiting 3 days and it still says they're reviewing my ID

Did all that and I still don't have my NHS number and can't find anywhere within the app to get it either.
To get full access one needs to go through insane security measures. It's not enough to have NHS number, photo ID, home address, phone number, password - a face scan is required! All this merely to make appointments or to repeat prescriptions.
thanks for this....the 'send code with the phone' doesn't seem to be sending....any trouble shooting ideas?
Yes delete ...possibly get a new phone , sim card and number.

Some practices may not have switched on full access yet. May have to speak with them
@@eGPlearning Talked to my one asking them for access to detailed coded record because I cannot see my blood test results, I can only see vaccines.I have been told to fill up the regular form asking for access to online services. On that form it states that I would like to have access to viewing online summary.They don't have other forms. I have been told that they will give me access code. I think that the receptionist does not have idea about NHS app and detailed coded record but there is nobody ealse there to talk to.I think that medical centre just doesn't upload that data on the server.Any thoughts who can I talk to except for the GP receptionist lady?

Uploaded a passport I same format as my own and my mums, to my sisters account, and yet it says her verification failed and they don’t accept that form of ID.

no but the information is held in one source the NHS app
Why can't we just go to the pharmacy and get the tests, do it and isolate if we need to? This makes it impossible for people to test if they don't have the tools to do this. Seems it's not about providing people with the means to self test and isolate if need be.

Different places have different routes but should be on GP sections if enabled

So, let me get this straight. The NHS wants to have a record of my DRIVING LICENCE and also wants to have a VIDEO of my face in its database. Absolutely no explanation of what happens if I don't have a photo driving licence or a current passport. Absolutely no explanation of what I am agreeing to in the so-called terms and conditions. Hmm. Thanks, but no thanks. (For anyone out there who has a short term memory problem, the NHS is FAMOUS for its crap IT and for the number of hacks into its systems. Need I say more?)

Absolute garbage app. Unable to verify my identity even after giving permission, so I can pay for the inhalers I need. Why I have to pay national insurance for such a useless service I'll never know.

Your dam instuctions do NOT work as it started different than your video so dam well sort it out.I have been trying to use this stupid NHS login & never ever came up with stupid requirements,I also went to see my health care who are stupid & NOT helpful at all. What is the big secret for this app to work?
No secret. No reason to be so aggressive either. Simply offer this guide to help also acknowledge things change and this was recorded a year ago.
Any issues contact those who created the app at NHS.uk rather than venting at people who are trying to help others.
