Nursing Associates are a registered profession effectively they fill the void when State Enrolled Nurses disappeared. There is no prerequisite that on qualification they then have to enrol in a Registered Nursing Degree or Registered Nursing Apprenticeship Degree course. What the role does do as well as filling that void is enable Healthcare Assistants to have a viable route to becoming a registered nurse especially via the apprenticeship route, a goal that might otherwise have been out of reach for them through the more traditional degree course route. It is retention positive as it provides a longer career path for those in healthcare who start out in a non-registered profession.

This needs to be scraped. It's going to be denying certain individuals access to the NHS that they pay for already. There should be some claims system for people that believe that their national insurance contributions are being miss used, if denied an appointment then a claim should be actionable. Pathetic.

The NHS app option doesn't work if you try loading GP records. At least for this current issue.

Any way to not need it on fingers ? I would love if I can use toes ? Or maybe a arm band. I have appel watch but need a live vision that don't require 15 sec to give me a reading of give or take of 7% off/incorrect.

What about people who do not have passports or driving licences ! This really annoys me that I should be expected to pay out so much money for items I will never use to prove who i am to a service that already knows ! This app has NOT considered the needs of all our citizens and different circumstances.

It's a bit impersonal and I think the request questions are difficult, knowing it' depends on totally what you've written, only wanting to deal with one request for one problem, I have 3 or 4 things going on that I dunno, could be linked! I'm 64 and am worried about these issues and Anima cannot compare with discussing with a doctor, and using AI to determine whether a person needs to be seen is worrying not just me but a lot of people are leaving reviews on Trustpilot, I'm glad I'm moving house and hope to move to an area that doesn't use it. My friend in Weymouth speaks to her doc all the time and it's easy, I'm put off even making a request as I think "anima" will probably dismiss it as unimportant,, yes I have mental health issues and I fear any serious health issues I may have would be thought of and seen as me being stupid etc etc.., it asks questions "what would you like us to do?" Well I dunno..... Can I see a doc?

TTP statement today said they are not making this change and will continue with talks with NHSE - But will not make any further changes without notification.

This has been such a storm in a teacup by the GP community. The option was still there this morning on EMIS, Capita and TPP would be open to litigation if they went blindly by what NHSE requested. GP surgeries are data controllers, the data processor cannot adjust your data. Even if they removed the nice easy radio button, we'd still be well within our rights to request an opt out.

I'll check back when you have SystmOne integration up and running, like the QOF engagement but I have concerns regarding the message flow it looks very bitty from an admin point of view I realistically don't want to be having a back and forth with a patient over an hour or so I want to resolve it quickly and move on and a phonecall does that far quicker than stringing out something over messages

Privatisation by the back door…. GPS are starting their own private surgeries… that way wealthy people can get a quality 30-40min appointment covering more than “one ailment “… Ultimately restricting NHS patients from getting the treatment and help they need is setting the scene for insurance backed care…. Think of your VET….£4000 for a lump on belly… dog dies 2 days later!!!!
