She was the only one saying that because she was trying to get more money during the divorce and wanted to rationalize her cheating. Then once he got to the rim he could dunk explosively-he could go up for a layup & reverse it to the other side if defenders tried to block him-he could hang in the air like NO OTHER drawing a double team then pass it off to a teammate for an easy bucket. To be fair, Duncan never came across as a guy who bought into the pomp and circumstance of sports. He wasn't disrespectful, but he also wasn't someone who was easily excited and usually kept his thoughts to himself. Even after his last game against Kobe (both retired in 2016), he really wasn't very emotional about never playing against him again. Yup... watching him play all throughout his career, ....the man was otherworldly... mesmerizing to watch.... LIGHTNING QUICK EXPLOSIVE, & you'd swear he could defy gravity (he'd go UP, then defenders went up....then back down while he's hanging, then gets shot off after everyone else grounded....& those huge mitts of his...allowed him to throw all types of deception at the defense, but maintain perfect control....in fact, Phil Jackson once said that it was exactly that, MJ's huge hands that he felt was the main difference between MJ & Kobe...the ball-fakes, control, just gave him an edge other comparable players didn't have. Now, I was born in Jerry West's, LAL's 1st title yr ('72) & became a LAL fan in Magic's rookie szn ('80) & KB24 was the one plyr who's ENTIRE career I had most access to, therefore followed most closely ..saw EVERY MOMENT of EVERY game....Kobe IS & WILL ALWAYS BE MY GUY/MY personal favorite....& Bring... NOBODY like him EVER, those physical attributes, that combination of size, strength, power, speed, athleticism, vision.... it's like the man was genetically engineered to be THE BEST at EVERY sport.....but, make no mistake, IMHO, MJ the GOAT....but give me Bron & KB lined up with him on my ALL-TIME squad...(Magic & Kareem, too).👍🏼

Robinson was still an incredible player, Sean Elliot, Chuck Person, Ginoboli, Avery Johnson and Vinny Del Negro were all legit talents. Plus grumpy Pop my zit as coach! Not only that, micheal jordan is high functioning anti social personality disorder, yet unlike jon jones, his entire legacy is unwavered and very well constructed aside from the few who know about his past with gambling, micheal is what jon jones couldve been, and tim duncan is the only INTP in the NBA whom thinks abstract and relates to the world rather then someone whom is grounded in reality trying to thinj abstract, his psychological awareness clearly spots out micheal jordans sociopathy and he withdraws and dislikes, its a form of defense against narcissism called selective mutism, in which someone whom calls a sociopath out will only be initating a game whilist being mute and disliking them doesnt initiate any interaction yet lets them know they cant charm the person in selective mutism, Tim Duncan is the True Goat and the arguement for that is Kobe and Shaq, Tim won more and kinda stole from Micheal jordans later career as he couldnt get a 7th ring, tim duncan wouldve had 10 if not for kobe and shaq breakin the offense.

      @stronginthewind Před 2 lety +4

      @@richb1653 I won't say poor shooting. But I do agree that the higher scores are from more 3pt attempts versus points in the paint. Most offenses back then were built off of big men who dominated in the paint and kicked it out to the 3 pt line as alternate offensive option on the play. Also, half court sets that ran up the shot clock was more prevalent then, opposed to now where teams are averaging more possessions because they are shooting quicker in the shot clock, all started by D'Antoni's 7-second offense. However, SAS could lock down even the teams with sharp shooters.
