  • Join Sanjeev Sanyal as he delves into the historical account of the 1946 naval mutiny in Mumbai, where 20,000 Second World War veterans took control of 78 ships in the harbor. This uprising resonated across Indian ports like Karachi and Kolkata, prompting the British authorities to deploy the Maratha regiment in an attempt to quash the revolt. Unexpectedly, the Marathas refused to fire upon their fellow countrymen, marking a pivotal moment in India's struggle for independence. In this talk, Sanyal illustrates how the mutiny influenced the establishment of the Cabinet Committee on Indian Independence by Prime Minister Attlee and highlights the vital contribution of Indian soldiers in the quest for freedom.

      Ya.Congress,Netaji,Bhagatsingh etc entered the fray only after this naval revolt and their effort was merely to grab the limelight.

      They didn't write history they just agreed to the conditions of Britishers,they gave all the wealth to them and said tata bye bye to them which eventually lead to the partition of India and Pakistan
      The death of Subash Chandra Bose was inside job for sure Nehru knew if Subash Chandra Bose achieved what he intended the the Whole population will stand by himself and make him the leader of India So they planned thoroughly how to finish Subash Chandra Bose
      After that they convinced Gandhi to not Enter to The politics
      At the end of all worked out good for Nehru
      They dominated the country for 60 to 70 years and still India didn't have good infrastructure, Highways, Military Equipments, Education
      And they even restrict good leaders like Manamhoan singh from doing good work
      Modi came like saviour to save India in today's economic and Military race of the World
      We have achieved good infrastructure, highways, military force , Economy and we gained confidence more than every we have achieved
      We can stand proudly and Say we are Indians in Global level and say we are the 5th largest Economy and We have World leader like Modi

    My uncle was a new navy recruit at that time. We heard it all from him. I kept quiet about it for so many years while I heard people say that Gandhi's non violence got us independence

    This is definitely a documentary that needs to be made. And also a movie on this (like Sardar Udham) would rewrite history in the hearts of Indians

      It's not may be the entire reason but one of the main reasons because indians were already promised independence twice , Bose ji with his private army and Indians weren't happy about bengal famine etc, all i can say is it's definitely not won by ghadhi as khangress preached all these years.

    • @vydehikamireddypalli7974
      @vydehikamireddypalli7974 Před 5 měsíci

      @@namednpc actually their PM Clement Attle himself said that it was not because of gandhi Indians got their freedom but due to the revolt of the naval forces...which they feared would spread to to armed forces also.
      People like you are so wrapped up in the false narration created by Congress that for you there is no room for doubt. Try and do some reading and research of your own before you declare your undying loyalty towards the great corrupt party called congress.
