- Genn Greymane worgen form cosplay update! Watch the time lapse of me sculpting and creating the mold. This is a cosplay project that I'll be taking to Blizzcon 2016.
Sorry for the few frames that are out of place, this was my first time doing a time-lapse and I learned a lot! Note: When ever I was using my phone it was looking at photos of the sculpt, flipping it and stuff to check symmetry ;)
Total time for sculpting and mold making: ~13 hours

Ah,, here it is.. Fantastic. Inspired!!!
your craft is so awesome! great job!
Mad Skills! It's gonna look so awesome!
thank you very much!
Hey! That looks really awesome! What are those paper strips you put over the silicone? Paper mache?
Thank you! Those are plaster bandages, the silicone needs a rigid shell to help keep it's shape when casting :)
Ah ok! Thank you!
:O so cool I will be sharing this around ;3
+Xuen thank you so much!!
Me to
Dat skill doe.......
I'm about to buy a Reain mold of a jackal, I'm so excited to start early next year
Awesome, good luck!
Can you tell me where you got your Mannequin/head piece that you're using to sculpt on? I've been trying to find one for a LONG time.
+darkenmarr I got it from compositeeffects.com
I just want to know how to make my own fursuit... where can I find a tutorial that will show me how to make a canine resin/foam base?
There are lots of great tutorials out there now, as well as so many foam cast blanks you can buy!
What was that you poured on before the silicone? And is resin something you can pour into the silicone mold? And is it required to carve the resin afterwards?
The first layer was just a different silicone, dragon skin 10 iirc. Then the other layers were done with rebound 30 or 40. I did it that way because it would help in demolding. Dragon skin 10 is softer to let the details come out easier and rebound is strong to resist tearing and hold the overall shape.
After the mold is made you do what is called roto or slush casting with resin to get a hollow shape
Nice busy where’d you get it? I haven’t seen one for sale like that
WolfHybrid I got it from www.compositeeffects.com/ :)
What did you block out the nose with before adding the clay? Is that cardboard covered in tape or something else? I’m having trouble sculpting snouts on my armatures.
If I remember correctly, it was cardboard covered in masking tape with foil crushed in the inside for some strength. I made a cardboard box to help with the symmetry of the sculpt, as opposed to just using foil.
Kazplay Videos thank you so much!!
your so awesome🤙
Thank you!
What are the little foam cubes for?
Those are little silicone cubes (cut from old molds) they act as registration keys for the mother mold(the plaster shell)
What type of silicone do you use?
+Jason Otow in this particular case I used dragon skin 10 for the first layer, and then rebound 40 for the other layers. Both are smooth on products :)
Oh. Thank you.
What silicone brand did you use?
Smooth on! The first layer was dragon skin 10, the rest of the layers were rebound 40
Where did you get the mini armature
I sell them in my Etsy shop! links.kazplay.com
what type of clay is this ?
Its monster clay!
what do you use to scult on ?
I got my head armature from CFX, though they don't sell that particular style anymore
@@KazplayVideos ah no I just wanted to know what you used to do the furry head but its claw I know now
