my very first monster, then i fused him with an arrowhead to make Crab Saurian. The best monster i have ever raised, the literal moneymaker in the farm, fuck phoenix, fuck dullahan. I like my old reliable yet a bit crabby champ

I did a search years ago and didn't come up with much for MR. Only after watching years of Pyrofalcon stuff did youtube recommend your vids and I find you, because youtube. I'm glad I did and I've been pleasantly surprised at the number of people who love this series.

these videos are absolutely fascinating, I've been playing Monster Rancher games since MR3 came out and never knew 2 went so deep! (also didn't know 2 is significantly more difficult to keep your monster from dying early, lol)

Just found your channel through the Dragon rundown, watched all of that series. Loved MR Battlecard on PSX and the anime as a kid, never really got a chance to play MR itself. Excited for the Switch port and these videos are a great look at what I never knew under the hood. Excited to see more... at a comfortable pace for you, of course!
Not all the Monsters that were great in the card game are great in Monster Rancher 2, but just experiment and have fun. The main game isnt too difficult when you know what you're doing. Just watch a few more of Moose's videos and you'll be good.

Back then i just raise my Monke power and skill stat to 999, and guess what ? i did the same thing again yesterday lol

I'm surpised how good the Zumm you buy at the shop is in MR2 I had the zumm win the offical Rank E tournament without even training him and he won every single round! I had to have him win rank E so I could find out when the Next FIMBA Vs. IMMA tournament was because I missed it the first time. I named the Zuum Timetraveler! It worked though as now I know its next game year! I am now thinking the next monster I'm going to raise is a Zuum though!
Alohasarein was my very first monster and I got him from a Gundam Wing soundtrack CD I named him gex and he is my absolute favorite monster

I always do Mustardy (Zuum/Suezo) as my first monster as it’s the most balanced of all monster, like Mocchi
But i like Zuum more so i pick the former despite they’re balanced

I think that he is a good choice casually because he can perform well in tournaments and do expeditions, but there is no reason of why you shouldn't get a Tiger unless you prefer Zoom for the aesthetics.
Best MR2 channel. But honestly that's not saying much.

how can you get burning roll?
Use roll assault 50 times and then go back to the kawrea errantry
play MR2DX with zuum, 1st monster and win the game only with 3 skills (tail, claw, and bite) , stat pow 16, skill 15, speed 15. lifespan only 5 years (use magic banana 4 times iirc), after beat the last major 4 the monster died. fuck am so sad and happy at the same time, he died with pride. 😢
