Amtrak 57 (Vermonter) 4/2/23 - Crossing Egypt on Palm Sunday.

Train 57 crosses Egypt Rd on Palm Sunday, April 2, 2023. The "Vermonter" is 5 minutes behind as they rapidly approach their next stop in Northampton, MA.
Leading the train was the Amtrak locomotive #100 in the "Midnight Blue" - (Connecting America for 50 Years) 50th Anniversary commemorative paint scheme. The 100 has been in the Vermonter rotation between St. Alban's, VT (SAB) and Springfield, MA (SPG) most of the winter 2022/23. This would be my last catch of #100 this spring because shortly after this video was recorded the locomotive was sent west out of Union Station in Springfield, MA and has not been back.
After another successful catch of the Midnight Blue Heritage unit, it was off to Fishtales Bar & Grill for burgers and fried chicken sandwiches just down the street:)
