As a TDS player with 100+ levels in there but also a TSB player with 11k kills, TDS requires more strats and planning for me, but TSB should win the other categories.

the ult move doesnt actually use too much particles it uses a filter with a small overlay over a normal 3d model similar to the kitsune tails in blox fruits and a small amount of particles

Another reason why its kinda a strategy game is the fact that every time you switch characters you have to change you playstyle up accordingly. Like with genos your more spammy and ranged, and with garou your up close throwing hands.

I'm gonna be honest, the argument you presented for TSB being a strategy game would therefore make all other fighting games strategy games as you need to think to properly get the mechanics for games down. The ability to properly get mechanics down for a game is required for the fighting genre cause you realistically cant just run in mindlessly. Just my thoughts though

Look, I love TSB as much as the next guy but it fundamentally isn't a strategy game so I have no clue why it's in the strategy category.
What it is however, is a fighting game. A completely different genre. Just because it has strategy dosen't make it a completely strategy oriented game, it's a fighting game at heart.
It's like putting Guts and Blackpowder, a PVE zombie game into the fighting game category- Oh wait they did that too.
More confusing is a dusty trip somehow also getting into the strategy category, and yeah Roblox is just picking the most popular games on their platform and putting them in whatever category. It is what it is.
