The reason it took them so long to finish split ice (todoroki) was because they started and finished a whole new character and a boss. The reason you may not see him in the character select was because he's unlocked by killing the boss.

this game is the reason why we have wall comboeing in tsbg btw (not a bad thing) because instead of picking up a trash can you have to hit someone while they are against a trash can, fence, bench, tree, rock, or pillar and it plays like an animation (not a cutscene) try it and you will see what I’m talking about.

imo wall comboeing was added as a feature for most of things, it just took longer for tsb to add that, wall comboes idea wasnt created by heroes battlegrounds, tho interesting idea they had to quickly rush to add wall combo before tsb to have something "original" in the game, not hating on it
@@strangertalegnv yes but, I don’t think they would have added that feature to the game until one of the devs that work in both games (because that game is also worked on by some tsbg devs) implemented it and that acted as sort of like a “testing grounds” for wall comboeing in these type of games at least, that’s my take on it.

The reason why Gojo is there is because there a very small chance that you can be the Honored one, therefore you get the Gojo move set.

YO WELLWORKS, the reason because killstreak arent hunted but they’re protected is because this game is less toxic and much more chill towards kill streaks, most ppl actually PROTECT the kill streaks.
You can use the first and second of bakugo’s moveset twice if you hit them, except for the first one the opponent needs to be ragdolled for second use.
The first moves 2nd form is a close range explosion with good damage
The second moves variant is a dash that launches the opponent into the air

the side dash doesn't give 2 dashes per cd, it just allows u to store two dashes
when u finally hit someone dnt play like tsb, knock people into trees for wall combos (you can do it in ranked its intended and an og feature unlike tsb/tsb ranked) do your combo extender into forward dash bruh and downslam/uppercut more(the jump into downslam instantly was nerfed its kind of really bad rn doing an actual downslam in neutral is better)

Heroes battlegrounds also had wall combos before any other game, you can go up to pillars, trees or trash cans and m1 someone next to them, you literally toss their salad.
The explosive her is a lot better than you may think. If you hit someone with Powered shot, you can press it a second time and it gives you a new move, which makes you dash toward them and shoot them upwards. Blast cannon only activates when you down slam and use it, to where if you do it again you shoot out a large horizontal shot. These can be mixed by hitting someone with the first powered shot, going over and down slamming them, using Blast cannon twice to hit them away, and then using powered shot again to dash toward them. Amazing moveset, really!

9:29 The way it works is each side dash has a cooldown but they stack so u can save both dashes or use them right away ( Basicly you can carry two but you get them one at a time)

9:30 Here, think of it like a fuel tank. so when you first respawn, u get a full tank. each dash takes 50% of that tank's fuel. so you will be able to do 2 dashes. but then when you do two dashes, you need to way for the tank to get to 50% again to dash. when you wait longer, it becomes 100%. it's not exactly a fuel tank type of thing but we can use it as a relation or smth
Idk if you found out yet but powered shot can be used twice with no cooldown as long as you hit someone + the second time is a variant
this is also the same for ground cannon (they need to be ragdolled), also the way to use trash cans is to m1 someone near one
The gojo npc is is basically a tiny chance to get gojo in publics for a while but its like 0.000001
this update made the game INCREDIBLY good, this is the one time i hate hearing wellworks yap which is shocking cuz i never have 😭🙏

1:20 It's just now releasing because they stopped working on Split Ice and started working on the portal character instead and made its base and ult before going back to work with Split Ice like at the mid of feb or something

i think the reason that split ice(todoroki) took so long without being released to public is that they went and made mastery deku, and warp portal, then made the rest of the ult for split ice
Btw in the 4th ultimate attack finisher if you look closely your character says, “where you go I go”
the reason it took a while is because they added another character which is the warp gate person you get it by killing nomu
When the character goes up in the air, look back at that recording because for s split second it says “Nah, I’d win” so i thought that would be cool for you to see.

By the way, kill streaks work differently in hero's battlegrounds. If you reset yourself, you wont loose your streak. Also, if you leave the game and rejoin, you wont loose your streak. (ps, killstreaks are respected in that game so thats why ppl defend them)
