Alternate battlegrounds is a Soulshatters based game. This (soulshatters) is the actual FIRST battlegrounds that was famous. These are an undertale fighting game

Wellworks. On the minute 1:04 there is shown a game called Alternate Battlegrounds
You should try it. It's a whole other thing than TSB. For example there is a lock on system, more than 4 moves per character. Even combos are different as they can be longer, or faster, or just modifiable. This gives the chance to be more original during fights. Plus, perfect block is enchanced altough normal block is now breakable. For more moves use E and Q to switch between move types. Also, there are characters with phases or characters with healings (don't worry, healing cooldowns are so slow sometimes they look done but they aren't)
Also, there is combat tag to avoid you losing streak if teamed on and gives you the kill if the opponent resets or leaves.
You should definetly show it as it deserves a bit of attantion
(I almost forgot to tell you that ULTs are not on every character. But they are filled trough getting damaged and damaging others, dummies don't count. And they are a single high damaging move that is hard to hit)

As an undertale fan I played alternate battlegrounds (AB) before hopping into heros battlegrounds due to lack of updates but hopefully it will receive the major update soon and revive back to its glory days

you should try alternate battlegrounds, its an undertale themed battlegrounds game, and it was the first battlegrounds game I played, it may not be as flashy as the current battle grounds but I still think its very good

@@mrs8794 if you want an easy to use character for beginners, try GlitchTale Frisk, their first move can be used as a get off me move as it has I frames on start up, the character has simple comboes and a counter, aswell as a 2nd phase

Another problem with chakra battlegrounds is the lack of versatility, especially in naruto (since he is the only character). his skills are very good and had the potential to be much more, he is easily a character who would have many techs like Saitama... but he doesn't and that leaves him a little dry and doesn't feel free.

@@chunkytheduck2980 the cutscenes are like 40 seconds max, and even those are a bit old, they're doing good with furnace's cutscenes (10-20 secs?) and i have high hopes for mephiles and silver.
hello holy grail! here's a history lesson about the owner of Sonic Showdown if you don't understand it.
Sonic Showdown is a good game, but the man who's made it Den_zee, is honestly just a lazy man. Sure he made a good game right? But he actually used to be a really good creator of roblox anime roleplay games. He created games like Dragon Ball Successors/Ressurections, Demon Slayer: Rising Sun, and most recently and his best, Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursebound. He rarely updated these games once Sonic Showdown came out, and recently caused a massive revolt in the community.
The Jujutsu Kaisen Cursebound mods/developers when to Den_zee, continuing to ask him to publish their updates, in which he refused. Most likely due to his own lazyness,or because of the current 'success' of Sonic Showdown. This made the developers reasonably angry, having a normal dispute with him. Den_zee ended up having a massive meltdown, ending up to shut down the server of Jujutsu Kaisen Cursebound, and ended up in the unevitable death of Den_zee's games.
I hope you could find this, I personally believe this is a good video idea , and to spread awareness about the situation.
(PS: I didn't make a video on this situation because...well I have barely any video ideas, nor do I have any motivation.)

Seven sins battlegrounds has more effort put into the animations the every season past the first of the anime.
For the naruto battlegrounds game, a feature that could implement the complex nature of naruto is to have the shadow clones be mixed up. Say, when you throw a shadow clone, you can have a variant where the shadow clone throws you instead. Things like that added to different movesets, where gimmicks are some of the class's selling points.
Shadow's in Sonic showdown is absolutely insane with the third and fourth move. Especially with the fourth move finisher.
the curse bg game is horrible. the owner literally takes 3-4 months to add 2 moves to a character and he keeps adding specs for himself and his hiearchy friends of "sigmas" 30 yr old men

I might have to check these out, anyways seven sins battlegrounds was a game that was being worked on after piece battlegrounds (due to the devs being "lazy and making trash stuff* (the persons said themselves) and so I was excited to see all the animations in piece I realized it isn't that good so when I checked the discord it had posted seven sins battlegrounds and yeah that's it, now it's an actual good game. 👍

You forgot to mention that Chakra BG has like the most broken hitboxes ever, you can literally see at 9:05 when you side dash away and his front dash still manages to stun you from like a million miles away. The m1 also stuns the opponent way before your fist even lands on them💀💀

He blocks as a peanut with a powerful aura approach near him, this fear sending small shockwaves around his body, making him almost paralized and unable to move his as he just stand there, blocking even tho he knows it doesnt matter as he will be defeated.
Sonic Showdown has some cool cutscenes for finishers, shadow has one for his ultimate, if you use the 4th ultimate move in a low hp dummy its a cool cutscene (pretty long tho)

Idk if you saw this holygrail but in sonic showdown you can perfect block/parry unblockable attacks and if you uppercut you can start air combos there is also boost clashes and spindashes clashes as well

honestly i wish some of these hidden battleground games got more attention, since i get the whole thing about TSB being the first, jujutsu shenanigans being silly fun, and all of that but I kinda like seeing other battleground games, specially ones that have a unique aspect to them (intended or not).
(hitting read more just shows me rambling abt my opinions on some of the battleground games in the video)
been playing sonic showdown for a good while and i have to admit, they clearly do care about the game even going so far as to revamp stuff like the first character (sonic). i think the main complaint is (obviously) the initial confusion of jankiness, and the lack of explanation on certain moves. like a bunch of stuff on shadow combos, and even the bike has a unique alt variant with a rifle, but nobody uses it often because they don't understand how it works (similarly applies to moves like shadow's ult 3 which is an intended execution move).
as for curse battlegrounds, i picked it up not too long ago, and i think its def up there but I feel as if they focused a bit more on the PS+ gamepass side, and I get its because most of it is WIP (like the domains since domain clashing isn't done yet) but i wish they would explain that rather than have people assume P2W or the game's a cash grab. (like i thought before i found out the reason for the cool stuff being locked in PS+)
and seven sins battlegrounds, honestly i just feel like its just kind of there. like its fun to play once you get the hang of it, and it has awesome vfx and animations, and decent sfx for most of it, but besides that it doesn't feel like there's much else. (i guess thats both a good and bad thing, since atleast it means its not like sonic showdown with the confusion, but its not like TSB where it was groundbreaking for what it did first.)
Just letting yk, Sonic is getting a potential revamp, confirmed before this video
