    • @vishveshmishra3894

      The more you tighten it that is more you turn it clockwise, the more leaner the fuel would be with less fuel and more air.

    • @vishveshmishra3894
      @vishveshmishra3894  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey! If you loosen it more than 3 then your mixture would become leaner meaning more air and less fuel which will give you more mileage but sluggish acceleration and lower top speed it is good for higher altitudes where the environment has less oxygen but for plains a 3-3.5 turn AFM screw is advised or else you’ll lend up either high fuel consumption with tighter screws or unnecessarily poor torque due to too loose of a screw

      @vishveshmishra3894  Před 2 lety +1

      No it’s not the same but the Pulsar 150 one does work but isn’t recommended if buying an original one is an option.
      Proper tuning for optimum ratio between mileage and torque is mentioned in the video itself if you are using a UCE 350 engine.

      @vishveshmishra3894  Před 2 lety

      Hey! Are you using an after market silencer? If yes then please remove it. Also redo your carburateur tuning as I’ve mentioned in my video about that. After these two use the Servo Adon that I’ve talked about in another video to flush and clean the whole combustion chamber and exhaust assembly.
      Always ride with proper tyre pressure and make sure you change your gears as mentioned in my video about proper gear ratio for RE 350. Your mileage would improve surely

    Sir what happens when we do this in cold condition ?

    • @vishveshmishra3894
      @vishveshmishra3894  Před 3 lety

      You’ll have a mismatched configuration as the engine needs to be warmed up to come it it’s normal state. A cold engine is devoid of oil and takes time to settle in its optimum state. Most probably you’ll end up with higher RPM and fuel supply than needed in cold state tuning

    • @vishveshmishra3894
      @vishveshmishra3894  Před 4 lety

      Hi! You should open full three or maximum full four threads, five is too much for plains. You’ll end up with a very lean mixture like this

  • @UsamaBinLuha
    @UsamaBinLuha Před 4 lety +2

    I have 2 doubts.
    1. If i want best mileage as i ride less than 60 kmph, what should be the setting?
    2. Is it wrong to set 2 anti clockwise for mixture(to get lean) and very less rpm?

    • @vishveshmishra3894
      @vishveshmishra3894  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey! Well the setting that I’ve shown is for the best mileage and top speed only as the mixture is just right for combustion as long as you are not in high altitudes. Very less RPM will always pose the risk of the bike stalling especially at a stand still while at the same time increasing the vibrations a lot when stationary which isn’t good for the rider or the bike as a whole. As for a lean mixture you’ll get better mileage but the initial acceleration would be sluggish, a slight drop in torque & top speed and the bike would give jerks in case you go into the fifth gear as there won’t be enough fuel per cycle to support that speed. So I recommend you keep the screw at around 3 to 3.5 along with RPM range in 900-1200 and in high altitudes it can be 4-5 along with 1200-1500 RPM

      @vishveshmishra3894  Před 3 lety +1

      Carburetor ko clean karane ki zaroorat nai padti itni jali, agar fuel quality and air filter theek hai toh carburetor sahi kam karega lekin around 5,000 KM pe carburetor ki tuning check kar leni chahiye kyuki vibrations se wo kabhi kabhi change ho jati hai and readjustment chahiye hota hai

    • @vishveshmishra3894
      @vishveshmishra3894  Před 3 lety +2

      It’s not about tuning the motorcycle for getting the highest top speed as neither anyone would hit that speed everyday nor it’s recommended for the UCE engine which is a low rev engine.
      This tuning is to maximize the mileage along with keeping the acceleration, torque and top speed intact. Mileage is what you’ll need everyday along with torque hence it’s necessary to check the tuning of the carburetor as RE service center guys do mess it up sometimes like they had in my last service.

    • @vishveshmishra3894
      @vishveshmishra3894  Před 3 lety +1

      Idle RPM for the RX 100 should be below 1500 so I always recommend to keep it between 1200-1500 RPM and the screw should be turned around 2.5 to 3 turns for plain areas.
      Also the RX 100 is not legal on the roads anymore so be aware of that & decide accordingly.

    • @vishveshmishra3894
      @vishveshmishra3894  Před 3 lety +1

      No there isn’t, the thump sound earlier was even due to the silencer mainly and a heavier crank. So you can’t get a loud/thumping sound without changing the silencer or entire exhaust assembly which is not good for the engine in the end
