      HELP, I hope you can help. I only fly the longitude and have 200 hours. I set up the plane for take off with FD, vertical speed at about 2500, Nav, set alt for 10000 and arm auto throttle. The plane takes off beautifully. NOW with same setting it climbs at anywhere between 2500 and 9000, blows through alt, setting, basically uncontrollable, I have tried everything with no luck. If you have any suggestions I would be very grateful

    Working title needs to get this Garman 3000 up and running. Inputting elevations at wave points is a sleeping thing. They should all be automatic. The CJ4 flies like a charm with enabled vnav

    • @2020fsers
      @2020fsers  Před 2 lety +1

      i agree the g1000 has the vnav enabled so the g3000 needs some love, on a complicated arrival setting all these altitudes can get arm bending lol and yes the cj4 is amazing i think people are a little apprehensive because the nav system looks like an airliner and the gps is different but it is by far leaps and bounds over the g3000 at the moment i will get into the cj4 soon can't wait. Question. Regarding descend via arrivals, while at cruise, can you not set the bottom altitude for the arrival and arm VNAV? That would eliminate the need to manipulate the VS manually. I’m not sure if this is a limitation of the software/program. Just comparing the procedure to the real aircraft.

    • @2020fsers
      @2020fsers  Před 2 lety

      Well yes you could do that in an aircraft that has an operational vnav 😆 I discussed this in the video as to why you must don it this way as well as input all of the altitude restrictions. Once working title gets working on this g3000 mod again hoping then will get the vnav correctly working the g1000nxi does work in the correct way.

    I play with atc on to try making it as realistic as possible because I'm limited being on Xbox and if I start my decent before they tell me to all I'll get is "please expedite your climb flight level" (whatever I was cruising at) so my question is if I do similar to this will atc keep repeating what I previously said with the please expedite your climb flight level?

    • @2020fsers

Unfortunately, I did not find a way to upgrade from my Standard edition to Premium Deluxe. There is a possibility in the game in the Marketplace, but I can't buy it there, it wants flight credits. Hi Thanks for Yr Tutorials. I Have the Longitude with WT 7.7 and FDE Fix. I set up the FP in game is that OK.? You set up the FP completely on the Plane. I use Navigraph Charts for checking details . Flying EGLL to EDDF. The Crse Alt in the in game 47,000 Ft. Can I change that on the plane to say 27,000Ft. How would that effect the out come. Also noticed that the Sqwak code self populates when the ATC gives You clearance. Any advise appreciated. Thank You.
    Is there a Guide for the G3000 V7.7 available.

      Hey thanks for the comment . Yes you can just input the flight plan in sim. Yes you can change the altitude if you like just go in and change the flight restriction altitude to the new alt. So if you use vnav it will calculate correctly but you do need to manually enter the altitudes. And yes unfortunately the sqwak code does auto populate if using the in sim atc. .hope this helps thanks again

    Can you explain your comment “because we’re using V/S and not FLC, we can now engage autothrottle”? So you cannot use autothrottle with FLC? I have always been taught that a good practice for any aircraft is to use FLC for climbs and V/S for descents, so just wondering how that works with autothrottle. Also, I have not been able to find a single video that talks about and actually demonstrates the TOGA function for takeoff, and I cannot get it to work when I try. I would like to use autothrottle from takeoff to right before touchdown but nobody seems to demonstrate that on CZcams…

      To add to this comment, I am Xbox user only don’t have PC version and so also don’t have working title G3K mod. Just stock airplane with stock G3K cockpit…

      Hey thanks for the comment. Ok so for reference I am using the fdefix mod and wt3000 so things may be different on stock version. Ok so yes you can use auto throttle while using flc . So when you set your auto throttle speed that will also be the flc speed . So after you set altitude and set auto throttle then hit the flc button climb appears on the top left of the pfd and the plane will climb and stay at the speed set in auto throttle to use as the flc speed. Hope this helps .
