Nice and easygoing video loved it
Solved my problem
lovely video, many thanks it really helped.
Thank you so much for your tutorials, I’m also a user of LumaFusion, big help..😉😉😉
Glad they helped. Thanks for watching👍
Hello Tammy, good video and thanks for the information. My issue on CZcams was the file size of my Thumbnail, it was 42MB upon taking a Snapshot out of LumaFusion. I watched your video and had the same result. However it sparked my interest so I dug around a little bit in the settings and stumbled upon the .jpeg feature. I selected that, then exported and voilà, under 2MB. You probably knew this already, however if you didn’t I wanted to point it out. I’ve been watching a lot of your content and you do a great job, thanks and I look forward to more learning.
Thank you for this information 😎
you are the best
Tammy, you’re the best. Thanks
😉thanks so much!
What if I’m not exporting to CZcams? How do I get a thumbnail - or even just the first frame of my video to show up when I export to my Photo Library. Right now they are all just black boxes with the minutes showing - impossible to tell which is which.
Great, I always used to go to another app to make thumbnails. God bless you and your cat.
Thank you and God bless you too!
Thanks for the instructions 😊 keep going
Hi Tammy. I love your videos. I’m trying to make a thumbnail but when I do a snapshot it comes out extremely light. Is their something I’m doing wrong? Thanks again for your tutorials.
Good video always good instruction
Thanks Ken. Definitely a learning curve with the hair light, new one, a recorded 3 videos back to back yesterday and I’m not happy with the strange color the hair light made in the studio. LOL. Not going to reshoot them because it took so long to make but lesson learned. Thanks for watching Ken!
Thanks for the tutorial!
No problem! Thanks for watching!
Good
Come on not a great? LOL
Very help full thank u for tutorial
Most welcome 😊
thanks for help:)
You’re welcome!
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching.
Hi Tammy, thank you. Basically you are creating a snapshot, editing the snapshot, and then saving that as a snapshot. Perfect.
However, I don’t use CZcams. And what I would like to do is to decide what my thumbnail is to be for the final .mov file that I usually create writhing LumaFusion. Sometimes the exported .mov file has a great thumbnail displayed on the screen within my iPad photos app. But sometimes the screen is black indicating no thumbnail. And I feel it is always more appealing to have a thumbnail than not. But I want to decide what that thumbnail is to be, not by chance.
Any idea how I can determine the thumbnail when exporting to .mov?
Thank you! Are you from CA? Just curious.
Andrew
No you can’t. You have to do the thumbnail separately. You should get the YT creator studio app. It’s free and that’s how I do my thumbnail.
Hi Tammy, QUESTION: If I want to go back in LumaFusion and change a thumbnail I made there, did I have to save it in a certain way in order to edit it? Or will it be there in a back-up that LumaFusion periodically does on a project you are working on? Thanks
Did you save it on the timeline? I usually keep all my thumbnails in a separate project this way I can edit them then just save them as a snapshot to my photo roll then upload the to creator studio app on my iPad.
Thanks for the info! What do you do about file size? I find the pics I use are usually too big for a thumbnail, so i wind up emailing them to myself in order to generate a smaller file size.
I do my thumbnails in CZcams Studio. It’s an app! Goes right in no problems about size.
@@tammysypniewski1891 I tried your method in LumaFusion and it worked like a charm. No file size issues. 👍🏻
So, I thought I would look at all your video titles, so I went to the bottom and started back up the list. Tammy, you have been very dedicated! This one looked interesting, and thought I might need a CZcams thumbnail. Started watching and realized I don’t know the exact definition of CZcams thumbnail! Still don’t. At one point, you said you could take that captured pic and go to CZcams with it. I sure wish you had done that, that would have solved the problem. But, thanks!
Sorry. It’s been awhile since I made that video. I don’t show how to upload it you say? See my newest video as I show you how to upload your thumbnail.
Thank you
You're welcome
Great video as always, do you find the Apple Pencil beneficial in your work?
Absolutely. I could never be without it now. It’s more precise and when your working in artistic apps it allows you to work with pressure to give a more realistic feel.
I don't have snapshot on mine 🙄
شكرا
Thank you, I think...LOL
Nice video
Thanks😉
Great tutorial, I added it to my “Video Help” playlist. Just finished my song video!
Awesome. Thank you. 😉
What model of iPad do you use?
I have a 12 inch iPad Pro that’s a second generation. I believe it’s an early 2018 model.
Yes I just checked it’s a 2nd generation
1:27 video begins.
Happy New Year and thanks so much for the time stamp!
Great info! Can you also add an image into the screenshot with LumaFusion?
Yes, you can add it another layer above it and crop and resize it and position it where you want it. 👍
Tammy Sypniewski oh that’s clever. Thanks so much!
Hi Tammy, Dawn here, I asked you about making CZcams Banners in LumaFusion. I Just wanted to share with you that it is possible. Check out mine on this channel, all created on LumaFusion. You Just have to make sure it is in the middle 1/3 of the page, a few little tweaks to make sure it is fitting etc.Check it out! And, we have not seen you for a couple weeks, I hope you are enjoying some R & R and that you are OK. This is a channel that I started for my husband and my music separate from my kid stuff. Hope you are wearing your sunscreen!
You forgot to divulge how to install a thumbnail into LumaFusion.
Could have saved time by putting the titles over the video and taken only one snapshot
I didn’t get what is the benefit of thumbnail
LOL. Just pretending to hold up the LF logo. If I have to explain it I guess it isn’t that funny after all😔
@@tammysypniewski1891 please could u explain 🤧
@@OM-bi9wi oh, I thought you didn’t understand mine. Hahaha. The thumbnail is just the pic that goes up to show what your video is about. If you make it interesting looking you’ll get more clicks and views.
Good video but your audio is raspy.
John Shepard Hi John. This was one of my earlier videos so I’m sure it was a little unpolished. LOL Thanks for watching!
@@tammysypniewski1891 Good to hear Tammy! I really enjoyed your video. It cut through all the unnecessary stuff and gave me what I needed for a thumbnail. Always a work in progress...John
