Fascinating! It looks like fun, that’s why I asked. And Thanks for simplifying what could have been confusing from many other software teachers. And I’m just thrilled that there is no green screen involved!
Coffee with Carey It was really fun. Thanks for the video idea! Can’t wait to see yours!
Another great video !!!! Great job of explaining everything in a clear and concise way. You audio for this video was great. Thanks for the videos Tom
Thanks Tom. Finally got the audio squared away. In my old camera I turned the preamps way down and it sounded good but with the M50 you have to turn it way up. 😉
Nice 👍 technique Tammy! Love the lighting tips.
I was lucky to get them done at the right time and that it stayed pretty sunny. Thanks for watching!
Thanks, Tammy. Very useful. Keep up the good work! :-)
Thanks Denis!
Why am I just discovering your channel lol. Will definitely try this cloning effect on my next video! Thanks!
Awesome. It’s a fun one. Timing is everything with that....you’ll see. 😉

Yessssss Tammy yessss!!!! This video was super helpful
Awesome!
Wow..you're an absolute BEAST with Luma. I went ahead and subscribed as I haven't found anyone making these kinds of videos with new versions of Luma. I'm guessing the one dislike came from someone using Adobe or Final Cut...haha. Please keep up the great work! *Peace*
Thank you so much! Haha, I don’t really pay attention to thumbs down. People looking to kill ma buzz, I won’t let them win. 👍
Thank you I will try this in my video tomorrow!! New subcriber!!!
THE Wii U DUDE awesome!
It’s a great idea! Thanx!
You are so welcome!
YES! This is a great one

Always great videos , thanks Tammy
👍 Would you be familiar with an old province in Austria named Galicia? This is where my great Grandma was from and we think it was in Austria but maybe now Poland. I ask everyone I think that maybe might know. Thanks👍
Galicia was a old province that was a long long time ago it was north from the current Austria. More like where Czech and Poland is right now. I grew up and lived in Austria for 33 years now I live in Chicago for the past 6 years.
Love this
Thank you!
Very cool
I really enjoy your vids
Thank you so much!
That's awesome 👍👍
Thanks for watching! 😉
Really lovely video, it's perfect. Even the dialogue is funny. " That's my jacket" hehehe nice touch. 🙏
Thank you for watching😉
Excellent.
Thank you so much for watching. Sorry I missed a few comments here. Geez three months ago, I stink!
Cool video I liked it
It was hard though.
Now with the 2.3 you can copy the colour correction and past it great feature thanks for the great video
Awesome isn't it?
Ive been wanting to do this for a while, but never got around to it. Being lazy more than anything. Ya know, lugging my gopro and tripod around is hard work!
It was a lot of fun but man timing is so important!
OMG this would of been a huge help in one of my past videos😁
How’s it going with the new iPad?
Tammy Sypniewski I’m on vacation so I’ll have time to play with with my iPad 😎
G’day Tammys 😁 love the tutorial, I’m learning so much from you, so glad I stumbled across your channel a little while ago and can’t wait for the next instalment. Keep up the great work 👍
Michael Moss, isn’t she great?! Also, do we know each other! 🤔
Hi CwC, I agree. By the way I live in Australia so I don’t think we do.
Thanks Michael so much! You must get that a lot because I know a Mike Moss too. LOL
Tammy Sypniewski that’s funny, there’s also another 2 people with my name that live close to me and I also know a Tammy.... my daughter 😁
Coffee with Carey, so you know a Michael Moss too? Is it the same one Tammy knows? Seems we’re multiplying at a rapid rate 😂
I might need this
Good luck! Very easy, just the dialogue is difficult.
Tammy it was fun.. I thought it was fun....
Excellent, you should get more views
Thank you for watching!
Nice 👍 video sis
Did you get my email?
Cool! I made my first video with this effect! The difference is on one shot I moved items that was touched by the two clones I made. 😁
Oh, doesn’t that stink! LOL. Simple little things that get us.

It's a seemless play I did. I just read my previous comment, it sucks I explained it that way. Haha
I also made my clones announce something in sync with me. It's fun doing this kind of video. Haha
You deserve one M subs.
Thank you! That’s sweet.
Hi Tammy! I’m curious to know if you can do these two types of edits within LF. The first one is a Match Frame edit where say you have someone doing the same thing in two different clips and you match the frame to make it look like a seamless edit. For the other type of edit, is there a way to remove objects with the use of masking like you would use in Photoshop? If you have videos on either of these already, could you post the link. Thank you!
Chuck Purnell There’s no masking in LF. The first one I’m trying to envision but it’s not clear. LF is basic compared to Adobe but way more advanced than iMovie.
Hello, I would like to ask if I can add multiple videos f about 10 for split screens? Since the layers in LumaFusion are only up to 6? Is that possible?
Very helpful video! Question, does Luma allow for the line of the split (i.e. the meeting edges of the cropped screens) to be at all diagonal? Or is the cropping always constrained as rectangular
If you want diagonal, you'll have to chroma key and make the shape you want for the underlying layer
Well that window with a strip of light in between (either that was on purpose or by accident i don’t care 😄) is a great way to mask that split screen 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I just got lucky!
very good tutorial maybe mic volume should be adjust at same level
Ken Emils Whar? No, thank you for saying hi to me?
Great Vid. For some reason the branches on the right behind the curtain don't move at all :)
A still NJ day! I promise no trickery👍
Tammy Sypniewski I got you. I was gonna say there you have it the border between left and right frame.
Is there anyway to do an over the shoulder shot cone shot? With this
Sure so the clone would be just behind you instead of on the side, some concept.
@@tammysypniewski1891Thank you
Video Idea: Best practices for organizing files so they are readily accessible while creating a LumaFusion project…?
Thanks Carey. I’m a huge believer in the cloud, which I backup and dump every month. I did a video on that awhile back about using a hard drive to back up your cloud. Or do you mean what’s in the cloud?
@@tammysypniewski1891 Ive seen videos on how people have all their files per project easily accessible; music included. I feel I'm always grabbing from my photo stream, my saved titles. storyblocks, dropbox... I'm all over the place. Some way to prepare ahead of time and have a more streamlined process? Just an idea...
Awesome! Now that
you have a clone, should we expect twice the amount of videos? 😀.
LOL. You’re killing me. I work too much as it is. I just counted my videos and do you know I have over 70. I’ve had this channel for 4 months, that’s a break neck pace. I’m tired just thinking about it. LOL
Well, one thing is clear, you have the quantity, but at the same time you manage to keep the quality. 👍🏼
Could you please do a disappearing tutorial ? 😊
Will add it to the list for sure.
question..im shooting with my ipad and having trouble with matching both cips..when i crop i can see the difference in the shots. was wondering as to why..and how to fix that..any tips would greatly appreciate it. thanks
Don’t crop. Is there a chance you may have accidentally micro adjusted the iPad when you hit the record button? I recommend using a stable tripod and a remote this way no chance of movement. Even the slightest tilt can throw everything off. Also try to shoot like how I did with an easy seam and at the same time as close as you can. Good luck👍
@@tammysypniewski1891 cool thank you so much 🙏🏽👍🏼
Tammy, I have a five piece band with individual videos of each member. How can I get all five squares of video on one screen at the same time?
Mark Johnson See my video picture inside a picture. You can use up to 6 different layers so you can do a total of 6 panels.
@@tammysypniewski1891 Thank you!
