I worked for JBL and I love your review. Actually redirect one of our customers to see your video
Thanks, that's amazing to hear! :)
Hey! A question. Do you think size amusements are better when located at the sides (closer to the ear pads) or more closer to to the top of the head (like the JBL Everest 710)?
your review is very complete, thank you so much !!
Pleasure, glad you liked it!
Thanks for suggesting alternatives, helps a lot!
Pleasure, glad you found it useful!
I like your review, it’s pretty much on point and is one of the base information for my decision to buy it. One general thing you should generally consider when making future reviews: please talk about the cable lenght of that included cables. There is not a single review that takes that 5 seconds to tell people what cable lenght they can expect. Especially when the manufacturer does not provide any of that information so nobody else does. Nowadays every gadget has some sort of cable. In case of this headphones I am using them a lot on my home receiver, so this information was the reason for me to view your review.
Please excuse my english, it’s not my native language.
Thanks for reading and stay safe
Glad you liked the review!
As for the cable length, it's something I usually do, so must have forgotten in this instance. It's usually around 1.2-1.5 long though. If you want a longer cable, I'd suggest getting an extender, as this isn't really a reference nor a set of headphones that are truly meant to be used at home permanently (ie like Audio-Technica headphones that have a multitude of cables included with them for this specific purpose).
can we take a second to appreciate that even though he has 34k subs he still responds to comments
Course bro, will reply to all comments as long as I can :)
Im used to like 20 bucks apple Cable headphones and want to get these
Finally a good review
I could only find reviews on how they are compared to really expensive ones
But this video actually shows how they are FOR THE PRICE.
Thank you so much; loved the timestamps and the general structure of the video!! 👍🏻
Pleasure, glad you liked the review and found it helpful - indeed comparing to more expensive headphones is rather silly and pointless.
Hey! Thank you for this video, was very useful!!

Nice review 👍🏾 Can you do a review on the jbl tune 750BTNC thanks
Thanks! I'll see if I can, but might be some while before I get to it!
Thankyou for your reply... Would you mind answering one more question...? Whose noise cancellation and build quality is better among JBL and Philips ?
The Philips again
Hello, amazing review, i’ve been using these for a year now and they often don’t turn off, would you have a recommendation ? Thanks!
Glad you liked it. They should switch off if you hold the power button. Not sure what to suggest
i was like... why doesn't he have more views? such an amazing Review, then i looked at the date, and i noticed that you just uploaded this review! hehe you've earned a new subscriptor, will you review the Sennheiser 450BT any time soon? im looking forward to see that brand in your reviews. thanks!
thanks man, appreciate the comment :)
Not sure I'll ever review them, however, I have tried them and the 450BT are 'decent', but nothing really special!
@@TotallydubbedHD Would love to know why you find them 'decent'.
Because they didn't offer anything special, sounded dipped in the mids, and incapable of producing a convincing bass or instrument separation
Very honest, easy to understand yet detailed reviews! After watching this review and your review for the Philips PH805, I am in a dilemma whether to go for the PH805's or JBL Live 660NC. Any thoughts please? Thanks in advance!
Glad you liked the review, Luke!
As for the headphones - I'd go for the PH805s if you can afford them; more comfortable and better ANC IMO :)
Thanks for the review. I am actually considering to buy this or the AKG Y500. I love music but in no way an audiophile. Hope to get some thoughts from you.
Thanks, glad you liked it. These are over the ear, while the AKG on-ear, depends what you're looking for really. Both are around the same sonically.
@@TotallydubbedHD Thank you. Just decided. Be buying the JBL. After watching this review, happen to watch your review on AKG Y500 after typing it. It was really funny that it was just the only time I realized what the term "on-ear" is and yups, I don't prefer on-ear.
@@Yajitra haha likewise, glad the videos were helpful. Hope you like the JBL!
There is some apps of jbl, can you show me the specific one for this headphones?
Hi. Is it possible to make call or usings teams and skype using audio cable instead of bluetooth? is the micro works using audio cable?
Hi there! a few quick questions if I may.
I was looking into these headphones but then towards the end you mentioned the Philips PH805's so I went and checked out that review as well and I'll be honest, they seem good, but I can't really tell if, overall, the Philips headphones are worth the price bump or not. These JBL headphones have the app and seem to have better bass than you imply with the 805's but seem to possibly be a little less durable than the 805's as well. Can you tell me if the 805's overall are worth the few extra bucks, keeping in mind there's no app to tweak them with like the JBL's? Thanks!
I'd personally pick the Philips if it's within budget.
@@TotallydubbedHD thanks man! Super appreciate it
@@CGDubz87 no worries, if you're going via Amazon, links in the description give me commission (to any headphone you the up choosing!)
I just watched a very informative review, but I dont know that much about headphones. I would like to ask, are they good for house and deep house music that I listen to the most ? I would like them to have loud and deep bass. Can they offer that or to search for something else ?
thank you!
Glad you enjoyed the review; for the budget price, they're not bad, but you should consider the likes of the 1More Sonoflow that I recently reviewed instead; check it out here: czcams.com/video/LSO0L-DGHso/video.html
Hey bro, thanks for the review, quick question, is this ideal as studio headphones?
Glad you liked the review! But no this isn't.
I need your help. In terms of ONLY sound quality, and which one do you prefer? Live 500bt or Live 650btnc?
Also does switching ANC on affects the sound quality in any way in 650btnc?
Not tried the other so can't comment.

@@TotallydubbedHD well!
I received these headphones as a gift to cancel out background noise while working from home. These are my first noise cancelling headphones and I'm not sure if I'm missing something obvious here..... If I take a meeting or phone call with these headphones, how can I adjust the settings so I can hear my own voice when I speak? It drives me crazy that my voice sounds muffled (to me), and find it very distracting when in a meeting or delivering a presentation. Thanks in advance for your help!
Hearing your own voice is quite specific; side tones it's usually called - don't think this has that feature, but can't quite remember! Would be through the app or via a certain scroll wheel if applicable (check the manual).
which one would you recommend between this and sony wh xb-700?
Not tried the Sony, so can't comment on them
Great review. I've had mine for only a couple months now the JBL 650btnc, I downloaded the JBL app and use the Jazz preset. Brings it up to the Sony WH 1000xm4 sound quality level if not better. It clamps to the head better than the Sony for active lifestyles, while you can still hear engine rumble which is good for outdoor safety.
Glad you liked the video, but I can't say I agree with it competing with the Sonys (no matter what EQ you use)!
@@TotallydubbedHD I have both, Sony costing 248 and the JBL costing 89, but sounding 90% close to me with EQ. Looking at RTings compare, they are pretty close on the frequency response especially with EQ preferences in play. I felt the Sony's sounded more ethereal and slightly better over all.
@@TheModeRed I would never, ever trust that website lol. But, glad you're enjoying the headphones.
I have been using this one for a month now and I have noticed they sound a lot better when I pair them with my laptop. When pairing them with phone, sound was not that impressive and also loudness of the headphone was lesser in comparison. Did you notice anything like that?
Didn't notice that when doing the review, but could be to do with your codec?
@@TotallydubbedHD as far as I know. These headphones only support SBC right. So I don't have the option of choosing a different codec.
@@subhamsarkar4813 indeed that's correct, don't know why I said that lol. Not really sure to be honest..shouldn't sound different. You don't happen to have an EQ or something?
@@TotallydubbedHD using EQ helped a bit. Still there's a good difference in terms of loudness and clarity. Anyway, thanks for replying. The video was great 👌

Are these good for gaming/voice chats. I just got a Razer Kraken for $50 and im now getting these jbl headphones for $40. I'm not sure if I should return my Kraken.
While the Kraken aren't exactly great, its dedicated mic will be better for gaming Vs these.
Can you use them whithout turning on? So just with the cable...? :)
And wich ones would you recommend instead? - Beacause I have to wear them about 4h a day and cannot afford some like the Sony 1000xm3 for their actual price:/
What's your budget?
As for wearing them without power, I can't remember unfortunately. Usually, yes, but without ANC etc

is the max volume too low?
I found it more than loud
@@vrgovsn honestly, without sounding horrible here, I'd check your ears for hearing loss. They should be plenty loud by default.
@@vrgovsn I guess, it's best to return them. Sorry
@@vrgovsn same here. rubbish headphones for sure.
Bought them for 90 euros, i guess they are amazing for that amount of money
Indeed! Enjoy :)
Are they good
Henk?
My mans is an absolute baller
Haha!
If you want to use a headphone for sports like jogging. Would you recommend this headphone or the one from philips? Because I don’t want my headphone to fall off
These ones for sure!
Earbuds work much better for sports
@@jamesazerbam74 not always!
All y’all really lied about than anc, it’s really garbage , almost regret buying this, horrible buzzing inference on songs with a lot of bass when anc is on and volume max, really sucks
Doesn't sound right
It's Good One
thanks bro
No probs :)
I listen this with it 🤭
Ha, enjoy!
@@TotallydubbedHDthanks. These are good. Only one minus is usb c Port missing.
Nice juggling
Haha thanks!
I have this for a year now. Bought it after a Sennheiser HD500 which I had for 18 yrs. This is a crap. A piece of shite. So disappointed. JBL LOL
You say “headphones” way too much.
I like headphones.
