You know someone is a musician when they sound better live than they did on a studio edited track.
I think part of it is that he doesn't try to exactly recreate the studio version every time he does a live version. They're all slightly different.
@@KhronicD Well that would be impossible. You can't make that kind of sound live. I mean, it would be extremely difficult to achieve. But it doesn't even matter because he sounds great unedited.

they dont really want to win though as it would bankrupt the whole country
My guess is that the Central Bank of Iceland released the Coronavirus just so that Iceland doesn't win the contest

@@Hildurbieberfan1 I'm pretty sure kittencritters comment was meant as a joke. You will get it if you watch Eurovision: the story of Fire saga. Can't really say more since it will contain major spoilers. But it's a great movie! :)
If Iceland won, it would bring some difficulties, but they would most likely be able to host the contest the following year. They'd probably have to rent Cruise ships to have enough accommodations though x)

I'm finding myself absolutely blown away by Daði Freyr's talent and attitude every time I see a new video or hear a new song by him. I'm not sure how I'm going to cope with having to wait 13 months before seeing him live! He needs to move some of this year's UK shows (well, Birmingham & Bristol ones) to bigger venues so that people who've come late to the party can get tickets!

This year it's two for me. I've been trying not to like Russia's entry, but god damn it's catchy.
