    Dadi Freyr Petersson actually has alot of music in Icelandic and English that he's already produced. He's usually a one man show. He's absolutely brilliant, plays multiple instruments, has a great voice, funk & humor. And he's 6'9".

    A Eurovision song is not a Eurovision song without a key change or "modulation" as you call it.... :)

      Yeah. It's like a calling card to be a Eurovision song. It's a great song and video and it is filled with Eurovision "tropes"...

      Ha, I scrolled down to comment that they would have been banned from the Eurovision if they didn't have a key change and yours was the top comment.

    Same feeling to my daughters. For me this put a voice to how I felt about them, told by an 80's kid like me. Absolute favorite.

    This is my favourite Eurovision song that never became a Eurovision song. They are representing Iceland again this year with a new song.

    To try and pronounce Ð right you say "Da" (like da da) and ð is like you say "the" Da the = Daði. This song has become a major hit, too bad eurovision didn´t happen this year. But not for my music taste though haha.. Cheers from Iceland ;I

  • @kiwi_crush

    "nobody pronounces it correctly" speak for yourselves. Perhaps have at least a passing try at pronouncing it, instead of just showing your ignorance.

      What’s wrong with admitting ignorance?

    • @kiwi_crush
      @kiwi_crush Před 3 lety +7

      @@MusicShed nothing. What's wrong is doing a video about someone and not even making a token effort at learning how to pronounce their name. And then justify it by saying "everyone says it Daddy Frayer", so that must be ok right?
      There are countless examples of people saying it correctly, so no excuse not to do it when you're producing material about that person.
