This guy has not researched properly, "dhan te nan" from kaminey and gubbare and everything else was originally theme of Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction..one the most famous movie of the world.

Now most of us wouldnot have had known heard this song, had it not been remade. Let us appreciate their effort of remaking as well as the creativity of the makers of the original one because it in the end it is a lovely medium for enjoyment and most of us do unwind by listening to our favourite track.

Waka Waka was not copied by Shakira. Likehow Kamli yaar di is an old Punjabi Qwali; Waka waka is an old traditional west African tribal song. Shakira herself was singing it as the intended singer passed away before the World Cup.

Waka Waka is not copied. The original 1986 (yes, and not 1984) song called Zamina Mina aka Zangaléwa was sung by a Cameroonian group and later became strongly associated with the African culture. The song is extremely popular in Cameroonian uniformed forces, in Colombia and also in most of the countries in Africa. Due to its strong association with the African culture and psyche, it was chosen for the promotion of the World Cup which was taking place in Africa. Not only el negro no puede but there are almost 20 other songs that have used tunes or lyrics of Zamina Mina.
Sami-namina is a folk song, no one owns it. Anyone who pleases can use it
