The 1.5t isn't a good modified engine. Lot of folks are finding out there is a hard stop on HP on the L15 engines. A lot of 11th gen Si owner are popping head gaskets on their 1.5t engines when tuning them. The 2.0t (K20C) can go up into the 450 HP range and have no issues. Lemonfactor has done a ton of testing and the 2.0t is beast with the 10 speed transmission mated to it.
Tuned 2.0 accord vs q50 3.0t would be an interesting one 👀
Sam Accord 2.0T vs precious Gen V6 Accord. Please.
You should race new TLX vs Odyssey!!! Or better yet FRS vs Odyssey
cant wait for Acura release their next new TLX Type AMGRSM
Today everyone is RUNNING WITH Turbos//
TODAY DRIVING A LEGENDARY N/A v6 from Honda and nothing get close !
in 5 years this engine is going to be a Legend and all those turbos going for trade in car
This Generation of TLX is one of the Last Natural V6 on the market yes is not a rocket but is not turtle
290 Hp at the crank is enough to enjoy back road ./// don t sleep this car make 14.3 sec stock
I keep researching different cars I think would be fast and fun, only to almost inevitably find they cost more and aren't much if any faster than the 2.0t Accord. I guess I'll just have to accept it and get an Accord.
@philly spitta81 I have a Korean car now, and it's been hit and miss with quality. On the positive, its made it to almost 200k miles. But it's nickeled and dimed me from the beginning.
That said, I searched for a K5 GT and there were zero within 100 miles. Pushing it out to 500 miles and only found 5 in stock. I feel like with so few out there, it might be problematic down the road when it needs replacement parts.
@@busslayer4790 what car do you have currently and what work have you had to do? It's interesting hearing real cost of ownership from owners.
@@jay.fromthebay it's my wife's 2012 Kia Sedona. It's at 190k now and admittedly, the engine and trans work as well as well as they always dis, but have had lots of less than critical repairs.
A/c compressor
Air bag sensor
Oil pressure sensor 4 times (2 under warranty)
Leaky oil filter housing
HVAC blower motor
3 of 4 door handles are broken - one rear slider is permanently jammed. The dealer shop couldn't get it opened even. They recommended a body shop.
Door ajar sensor on rear hatch
Belt tensioner
Alternator
Lower control arms
Rear seats jammed and won't fold
A Coil pack failed
The stitching on the driver's seat ripped open under 100k miles
I know some of these are probably typical wear items. It's been paid for for a long time so I've been willing to put up with a lot.
That 1st Gen TLX doesn't look at all stock. Clearly lowered giving likely better aerodynamics than factory height and aftermarket wheels, are they lighter or heavier than stock?
Do the fwd tlx v6 vs accord
V6TLX all day for me with more weight and luggage in the trunk V6 will always be more seamless and smooth.
... AWD AND Hatchback would make the Accord perfect!
2022 Type-R will be I guess :)
2.0T is a beast
Can you do a 2011-14? Volvo S60 T6 AWD 3. 0 L turbo I6
I hope he knows about the cheat code to fully disable the traction the car sliding has to be blinking
Wouldn't the accord's weight be more if it was all wheel drive?
Y’all need to get a 2017 accord v6 to go against the 2.0. I raced a 2.0 last night and he got off the line first but I caught up and we were neck and neck. Would be a great video.
He has, if o find the video I’ll paste the link
@@arthurruffin6610 no he hasn’t bruh.
Bullshit. Stock for stock from a dead stop. The 2.0T wipes the floor against the V6. You are not catching up and a ton of videos show this. I have owned both and currently a 21 Touring.
@@brenttitus2134🧢 v6 gets him off the line easy but the the 2.0T comes back and takes it in the end. Simple math. V6 and higher displacement vs turbo lag and smaller engine with better low end torque and a near 250lb weight advantage (120ish for a 2.0 Touring) 🤷🏾♂️💯📠
you guys should do the Accord 2.0L versus the old Accord 3.5L V6....that should be interesting...
It’s been done on other channels. Stock for stock the 2.0t always takes it.
You should race the Accord 2.0T Sport vs the previous generation Accord V6
Error 404: Vtec not found
More American muscle vids would be cool. Mustangs, Chargers, Camaros etc. and not the v6’s models either!
How this little 2.0 is smoking everyone in its class and out of its class too..??? 🤔😅
They probably have something in the works down the road.
Can you do WRX VS STI ?
