The chemistry was real and together they made the show come to life and loved by all the fans. I just have to binge reruns!!
Five years later and I still do not believe that Katic and Fillion did not get along and thus, the show was ended. Their chemistry was too great. If it was my show and if money was an issue, I'm sure some solution could have been made. (I would have paid Katic's salary because without her there was no Castle). Isn't that why they became producers? Katic made that show (no disrespect to Mr. Fillion). From the moment I began watching, for me, the show was about Beckett because she was so much in the forefront (sorry again, Mr. Fillion. I'm a long time female superhero groupie thanks to 'Wonder Woman, Spider Woman, She Hulk, Storm, Jean Grey, Kitty Pryde, Psyclocke, The Huntress, Black Canary, Selena Kyle... I could go on. So I always saw the show from Beckett's point of view. However, props to you, Mr. Fillion. No one else could have played Castle'!!!). I was sorry to see this show end the way it did. There were so many possibilities. If Law and Oder could last for 20+ years, so could have Castle!!! Just sayin'!!!

These are all false rumours. The ratings fell a lot and Stana demanded a hike in the salary.
I also couldn't agree more! Katic's expressions and chemisrty with Fillion were remarkable! I love The Rookie but the chemistry of Fillion with his character's love interest just isn't there...This show could have lasted if the writer's were smarter on how to keep it...
Their acting was so good i wanted them to be together in real life but how could they not get along😔😩😭😢

(HUG) Best show, Castle and becket and all the cast were so amazing together. Lanie, Javier, Kevin, Captain Montgomery, Martha , Alexis were so awesome together. The director should remake Castle with the original actors. They would have a high rating if they did! Theu blew it when thay took Becket out, the original script writer, etc. The end was horrible without Stana Katic & Castle and Lanie. Do it again and watch the ratings go way up, do it before it's too late!

There is no castle without beckett she became the lead actress of the show more than Nathan i think they did the wrong choice 😢❤️ BUT this show is amazing and they give us one of the best show ever ❤️
I have to agree and disagree at the same time, I wouldn't watch Castle just with Stana and I wouldn't watch Castle just with Nathan. Castle = Nathan + Stana, without any one of them this show is just another cop show. Both are needed.
@@kskiran08 i understand your feeling and I would have say that same but if we really see it with the point of view of the writers there is more possibilities of action , investigation, mental breakdown, pain and so on..with castle dead than Kate because for me at least castle is not credible as a revenge men or even as someone fighting for the most of someone as we had the opportunity of seeing it with the Alexis kidnapping... for me Nathan wasn’t credible ☺️
@@HannaMarin-bz2xv You know why Castle is unique? Not because of the supercop element. It's unique because of the dramedy romcom element in it, the light heartedness of the situation like a murder, which is extremely tragic. Castle kind of show gives comfort. If I wanted to just watch some supercop show, a woman/man trying to avenge their parents death, with serious investigation, the trauma etc. guess how many of those kind of shows are available? Plenty. And how many of them were famous? Not many. If I wanted to see someone have PTSD every 2 episodes, flashbacks of the death alley every 5 minutes, I could just switch of my tv. I understand your feeling as a fangirl, but disregarding the main element is the worst of kind of fangirling. Yes, her story was tragic, she is hard working supercop but without the love story it's just another boring tv show. Without Castle it's nothing.

And I agree I just put myself in the situation of the producer who at the time really thought that it was possible to continue a show only with Nathan (castle) and in both hands the show would definitely NOT be the same I am glad they’ve ended up here ! I wouldn’t have watch either if it was only for crime scene and murder issues. I’ve just expressed the fact that IF the producers wanted to continue de story only with Castle it wouldn’t have been credible and with Kate as well it would have been only pain, ptsd as you’ve said and It would have change the identity of the show. So do I want a castle without castle NO do I want a castle without Kate ? No as well I am agree with you ! ( and if you like watching shows like this I don’t know if you’ve heard about the show « Lucifer » but it’s amazing if you like laugh, crime, interesting relationship stories i think you can enjoy it )
@@HannaMarin-bz2xv Right there with you. No way I would have watched the show without Stana or Nathan. I agree the producers and the studio made the decision to end the show. Also, Stana and Nathan both were producers for the entire 8th season, as producers they get profit on top of their salaries. I think the studio was getting less money because of this and they did not see any profit from continuing the series further. Nathan and Stana made so much money from Castle, they went on to become executive producers for their own individual shows (The Rookie and Absentia). Sorry if I was rude before. I just wanted to point out how unique the series was/is.

I think she was very expensive because she is a great actor and I do not agree with couple counselling part. The ratings fell really badly after season 7 and the show makers just turned greedy and ABC does cancel shows a lot. I like both of them still and I really miss their pairing because after Castle , Nathan also did not get many roles. I did not like Absentia, but Call to Spy staring Stana as Vera was a great movie.

Beckett Stana was just as much of the show than castle. I wish it would have lasted longer. It wouldn't have made it if Beckett didn't come back. 😢❤

7 different languages? Haha, she was probably joking, that’s usually how us Balkan peeps mess with foreigners or to fill our CVs. Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian are the same language, just different dialects, they’re classified as separate languages because of political reasons. How do you think people understood each other in Yugoslavia? 😂 Okay, Slovenian is a bit different, but you can understand it if you focus well enough. I assume she learned to speak it at home since her parents are Serbian immigrants to Canada.
Btw, her surname is Katić, ć is pronounced as a hard ch sound, it’s the same like in Mila Jovović, the sound doesn’t exist in English, so ch would be fine, just not the k sound. 😄

L'erreur ne vient pas des acteurs car Katic tout comme Fillon ainsi que le reste du casting étaient parfait ! Pour moi personnellement, je jetterais la faute sur le réalisateur et sur le producteur car ils se sont éloignés de l'idée de départ : le personnage principal "Castle" jouer par l'excellent Nathan Fillon ! Tout aurait dû évoluer autour de lui car il est CASTLE ! Si il avait bien respecté l'idée de départ on n'en serait pas là ! Les acteurs en n'ont fait les frais... L'histoire de Kate Beckett incarner par la talentueuse Stana Katic a pris le dessus sur celui de Richard Castle et c'est devenu insensé ! Plus en avancer dans l'histoire plus en si perdait car il y avait plus de sens au titre "CASTLE" ! C'était assez perturbant ! La faute au réalisateur et à toute la prod qui n'ont pas su maintenir une cohérence vis-à-vis du personnage principal "CASTLE" ! Quel dommage car c'est ma série préférée ! J'espère que Nathan Fillon et Stana Katic pourront retravailler ensemble sur une suite et sur un autre projet car ils sont très bons tout les deux !
