    Every set of Rams I do for contractors always states "must be checked for dead using a voltage indicating device and proving unit" . It's the bread and butter for electricians but so many don't do it.

    This could be AI. Looks like the conductors were touched together on purpose. Or it could be the person is incompetent and a kitchen fitter probably Eastern European as wedding ring on right hand. I wonder if he lost his eyebrows on that one?

    People short out wires to isolate. Ive seen sparks do it because they couldn't find the isolation. Then being unable to find the fuse and the circuit stays dead...
