For Pie Filling
Ground Beef
1 1/2 - Medium Onion
3 - Scallion (Optional)
Cayenne Pepper - tt (Optional)
Seasoning of your choice
Salt - tt
1-2tbsp - Coconut Oil or oil of your choice
To Thicken Filling
1tbsp - Cornstarch
1/4cup - Water
Pie Crust
4cups - All Purpose or Plain Flour
1tsp - Baking Powder
1tsp - Salt
1 1/2 sticks - Butter that is 1/2cup + 4tbsp or 169.5g
I/4 - Medium Grated Onion (Optional)
3/4-1cup - Cold Water

The fried pies came out so beautifully, and the crunch yummy. i was just thinking of this Ghana fried pies this morning and here comes this video. i enjoyed this so much growing up on the streets of Lagos we had the Ghana women selling them in show glasses.
