- In today's video, I demonstrate how to install a carbon fiber engine cover & carbon fiber hood shocks! It's actually super easy its only a couple bolts, some extra hardware and she's done! HUGE shoutout to King of Carbon Fiber, they have the lowest price engine cover on the market! Don't be afraid to tackle this DIY, its an easy mod to do but changes the whole engine bay of your car! The carbon fiber engine cover looses the venting that the oem one had to send air flow over the turbo. May want to make some holes to imitate the oem one.
Yes, I like the hood prop, but too many have indicated that it will bend the hood.
It’s the same exact engine cover! So it has all the same holes! & for the hood prop, it doesn’t look too strong for now but only time will tell!
How reliable has the GR Corolla has been??

Been super reliable! I’m at 8.5k miles and car has been nothing but great to me! I even have a aftermarket intake for about 1.5k miles & 0 Check Engine Lights! I will do a full breakdown of the car at 10k miles! 🙏🏽
