I liked how she just outright admitted she didn't want to be Empress because it's too serious and too much work. I think it make sense though, Wei Ying Luo was a ladies maid for several years before being elevated to Noble Lady, so for her after solidifying her place in the harem, why would she want to keep working so hard, she wants to have fun. Also, Lady Wei loved Empress Fuca (the first Empress) and she saw how Empress Fuca struggled all the time with depression because being Empress was so stressful. So now that she is a Consort, Lady Wei just wants to relax and make her home as pleasant as possible to live in.

@@meisstupid I read in a different comment stream that the real Wei was taking medicine that contained lead because lead was believed to help cure something, but instead of curing something it gave her lead poisoning and she died from it.
