Not gonna lie, every time I have my wool overcoat on or I see someone else’s with one on and they don’t have any field gear on it reminds me of Schultz from Hogans Heroes
Am I the only one bothered that the flag is hung wrong. Stars are always on the right side he has it backwards. No biggie but for those of us who know from experience it’s kinda like uhhh. Anyway cool olde school army uniforms.
When I got out of the US Army in 1971, I had to turn in my OD Field Jacket which was the one piece of clothing I wanted to keep. I don't know if they reissued it because they were in short supply or if they sold them on the surplus market, but it really pissed me off.
Hi there, first off I would like to compliment the video and encourage this wonderful hobby. I am pretty new to reenacting and am doing the German 275th ID mid to late 1944 / generic German infantryman Western Front mid to late 1944. I had a question for you:
The sheep during the 40s, must have been really cold lol. Also where would you recommend getting the basic uniform bits, shirt, and pants stuff. (Great video)
i have an original battle of the bulge American overcoat.

I think the way they tied the scarf in images I've seen is the European loop, not sure how that was you did it.
