I love Android 15 beta on my Pixel Fold
there is edge-to edge feature that launches apps in full screen mode (hides the status bar and nav bar ,use 100%of your screen)
Definitely an exciting release. Now that the platform revolves heavily around quarterly updates. Hopefully this will apply more pressure for OEMs to do better when it comes to porting to new releases. Rather than just using scoped backports for security maintenance.
Especially if Google makes it a compatibility requirement.

I plan on installing the beta on my P8P once it hits beta 2. I'm glad I didn't know about the first beta because I heard it broke everyones NFC along with some other stuff.
I was one of them..
I haven't been able to yest the NFC yet.

The file dock features of oxygen OS 14 i wish be available in Android 15 as well for pixel devices 😃
The time and charge percentage on the top panel are now larger. Finally! There was so much empty space.
Hey nice work but to me I see no any new any new features on this Android 15 that just got released and again my question here is that why is it that we can't open windows pop-up on on Google pixels phones just other brands like Samsung?
You can , just click on the app icon on the recent menu and select "pop up view" ,
If its not there you dont have it enabled in the settings. Go to settings and search ,pop up and it should show the setting

I'm hoping Android 14 will have lock screen widgets because Windows 11 already has the same feature, so I can check my calendar events on my Galaxy A13 5G, I still haven't received the update yet but I know that my phone won't get Android 15 so I'm hoping to see lock screen widgets on Android 14
The default wallet app is not new. It was just moved. Look on your Android 14 under NFC settings and you will find it there.

I wonder with all the legal stuff going on with apple and the possibility of rcs with ios18 Google will update some stuff to make interacting with iPhones less painful 😓

Beta comes to Samsung in the form of One UI Beta. That's signed up for though Samsung Members when it's Available

There won't be much. Nothing over the top, just reinforcements. Soon though, a huge overview change
@@jimmyispromo they need to put some things right and develop some very much needed app features, like
1. A search function that works in KEEP, at least at the level of the one available in Simplenotes
2. A search function for finding folders when you want to put a picture in a folder in Google Photos
3. A quick translate function in Google Messages, like it existed many years ago
4. A Gboard that doesn't freeze from time to time, especially when writing comments in CZcams
5. Enhancing the predictive and corrective features of Gboard when you inadvertently touch the numbers in the line above and the space bar below, or when you inadvertently touch the n, m, c keys, instead of the space bar

Very disappointed!Unfortunately, google keeps removing features instead of adding. These are just minor changes that can't be justified as a major update. They should add these small changes throughout the year. I find it hard even for you guys to review such useless "features" 😅
