Bouncers being rude has honestly damaged the club scene massively, after seeing videos of bouncers knocking out drunk kids for no reason I don’t feel as comfortable getting drunk at clubs, then clubs complain about decreasing numbers and act surprised
I remember a bouncer doing this to my dad on his stag night, told him he couldn’t go in because his trousers had to many pockets. He’d booked 5 private booths with bottles on the tables for everyone who had gone, cost him over £10,000. Ended up getting it all refunded and a club guide heard it all and said he’d get us into a better club, he spoke to the manager and he let us straight in. Dad spent the money in that club instead. Crazy how they let their attitudes fuck shit up, would’ve loved to see the convo from him and his boss as to why 30+ people left the club and why they had to refund so much money

One time at uni me and my friends queued to get into a nightclub for an entire hour, and as we got to the front the bouncers declared the queue needed to be single file for anybody to be let in, knowing damn well that was impossible. The queue would have been a mile long. Absolutely refused to let anybody in. Hour wasted, night ruined.
I love bouncers. 90% are really chill guys, obviously there’s 10% on power trips who are proper cunts no matter who you are or what you do, but the majority are nice.
Only time I’ve genuinely had beef with bouncers was a 5 foot nothing woman trying to kick me out for checking outside. I straight up told her and anyone else no because I wasn’t leaving my girlfriend inside, the head bouncer came over and said it was fine and told the woman off for being on a power trip. Morale of the story, don’t beef with bouncers unless you’re serious and in the right. They can tell.

Some bouncers are assholes, but let’s be real, 9/10 times it’s the drunk guy who’s being the asshole. Anyone who doesn’t think this should try going out with their own mates sober.
