- Crispy, crunchy breadcrumbs that are oil-free, grain-free, gluten-free, vegan, and plant-based. This is not a joke. This is exactly what you get when you make Chickpea Crumbs! It may seem weird to make breadcrumbs out of a can of chickpeas, but once you've tried them, you'll be a believer like me!

I just learned about chickpea crumbs and searched how to make them! I'm really excited to make and use them!
A healthy recipe and comedy all in one, I’ll definitely be giving you a follow! Thanks for the recipe and the laughs :)
Thanks for the can opener tip trick that'll make getting tomato sauce out with and using a spatula.
Thank you for the can opener trick!
How long did you leave the crumbs in the second time you put them in the oven? And how long did you let them sit in the oven after you turned it off?
Hello, Beth! I’ve enjoyed all your videos. For myself, I hope to see more one day. For you, I hope you’re well and doing whatever the hell you want. ☺️
You actually don't need to toss the aquafaba if you're not using it right away. You can freeze it in an ice cube tray.
Thank you for the can opener trick
Thank you for tips and recipe!!
Excellent!!! Thank you and Blessings..... :)
You look fantastic! Good for you.
Tinned chickpeas, food process to coarse texture, oven 325oF for 15 minutes, pulse again, oven again. But if you need a lesson on how to open a can, watch the video.
Just found your channel and binge watched all your videos. Thank you for all your videos!
That’s so kind! You’re very welcome. I am hoping to make more soon!
@@PassthePlants same here, just found your channel today and watched all your videos. Can’t wait to make your recipes and looking forward to when you make more.
OMG, I am going to do your recipe! Amazing, great idea. Thank you so, so much!!
Wow amazing, so many years on this earth and just found that out. thank you can't wait to try it.
Awesome thank you! I'm researching cauliflower bites "buffalo wings" style and looking for a healthy option, this is perfect :)
Excellent video and useful since I can no longer find these in the stores in my area.
Thank you very much 😊 what kind of food processor are you using? I need to buy one. And yours looks good
Do you have a video on how you made the onion rings with the chickpea crumbs?
I made a casserole this weekend with a chickpea topping. The chickpeas ended up kind of mushy and a weird waxy texture. I’m going to make these chickpea crumbs to put on top next time. Thanks for the video.
Did you know that Aquafaba can be beaten like egg whites to make meringue because of the protein content, just FYI
how crazy... I've been using the can opener wrong all my life?! LOL I will definitely practice opening the can the way you showed. Thanks for the recipe/method... do you rinse off the chickpeas or just leave the aquafaba on them?
I just leave the aquafaba on them, it doesn't hurt anything, and saves me a rinse. :) For the record, I'm on the fence about which way to use the can opener. Both methods have pluses and minuses for me. :)
This is a great substitute for breadcrumbs! Thank you! How long can these be kept in the fridge for?
Great video 👍also I thought that's how you used the can opener too🤦😭😩
Brilliant!
The canned are pre cooked right? And soaked from dried are raw still.
Yes, that's correct. But soaked from dried will still end up cooked in the end. :)
Does the aquafaba not give you bad gas like other bean liquids?
I haven't experienced that, but everyone has different reactions. If you're not able to tolerate aquafaba, plant milk or water with ground flax seed will work out great!
If you're using the crumb to coat other foods like you would with panko how do you get it to stick to the food without using flour and egg which is traditionally used when coating food with panko?
Good question! I use either flour or cornstarch for the dry coating, then dip into a mixture of water/ground flax seed for the "egg", and the either repeat that to make it extra coated, or dip into the chickpea crumbs. It works great!
Motivational chickpea speaker? 🤣😂🤣
😆 at the can opening hack. Maybe it's an American thing your only figuring how to open the can correctly.
