Crashing and overhype... dega and Daytona... only chances of bubba winning... just wait till we get half way into the season...
Bubba will get better results than he did with Petty...and maybe a short track win.
I think they'll get a few wins, probably not a championship but at least a few wins
We don't sign checks to losers..🤣🤣. He needs to send that message to the Hornets.
Exactly what a bust and this will be no different, if Jordan wanted to blow money he should have done it 15 years ago when nascar was at the top.
The Hornets are 5th seated in the East, and they will make the playoffs. Only by a team making the playoffs, that's a huge win for a sports franchise in financial terms (especially for a small franchise). BTW their attendance is in the top 15 out of 30 teams.

Even Danica Patrick could have won in at truck that season lol . 3 Years in Cup . 5 years in Xfinity and only 9 top 5's doesn't amount to much . Whatever success you are speaking of in 2014 amounts to squat also because any driver will tell you competing in a truck compared to an Xfinity or Cup car is night and day !

Bubba has proven that on many an occasion. He's a Top 20 driver. Period. And there's nothing about that to be ashamed of, for sure! But let's be real... he is not a championship contender behind the wheel.
My only deduction is that all involved are focused on The Money and Prestige that comes with Jordan's involvement.

Bubba has had flashes of brilliance in the past, and he was mixing it up with the leaders all night in this NEW team's FIRST race!
There's so many drivers who are white with top-tier rides (William Byron comes to mind) who took years to earn their first win, that you dont hear NEARLY the same amount of hatred for vs Wallace. Here's Bubba's first real chance to perform in top tier equipment, he's aware of it, and he's been the first to say in interviews that his performance needs to live up to the hype.
He's deserved this shot, and he deserves to win.
And hard core traditionalists might rue the day the Confederate flag was not allowed on tracks last year, but Bubba is 100 percent correct in that NASCAR wants to invite minorities into the sport, and that was a VERY clear first step towards that goal.

Ok I’m not making this about race but bubba was in top tier equipment on his way up and got dropped from them for lack of performance (JGR and Roush (the season after they won the xfinity championship)..... second it’s Daytona it makes a lot of drivers look good that aren’t as a comparison he got up there when people were being patient he almost wiped the field out twice that I can remember because he was being impatient at the end of the night he would’ve finished in the middle of the top 15.... he sucks at road courses he’s not that great at traditional ovals and I don’t know much about his short track capability. Honestly this is just another diversity stunt just like with Danica.... here’s a driver that’s put in the same amount of time and in a lot of people’s opinion is more talented and that’s Corey Lajoie.

This is nothing but a continuation of the Danica Patrick debacle of a couple of years ago.....Danica never won a race in her Cup career.(NASCAR only wanted her because of her little slice)..And Bubba probably will not win a race either....All this money being waisted on mediocre talent,when more talented racers are being ignored.....We will see what Jordan thinks of his driver come the end of the season when he hasn't any trophies to show to Micheal.Where was Micheal when Bill Lester was running around NASCAR 15 years ago?Bill had more talent than Bubba.Bubba is just another field filler type racer.Just watch,he'll wind up crashing or running in the back the whole season.
