Fun fact: Originally majin sonic wasn't ment to be scary it was simply a funny Easter egg by one of the creators of sonic CD but due to the wrong choice of music and the faces it was considered scary plus the word majin meaning demon in Japan so in the mod majin just want to have fun he has no real alternative motive

In sonic r tails doll was supposed to be a robot but with metal sonic , and metal knuckles no way there would be a robot trio so tails doll was a doll that came to life with a little shouldn’t spill the tea here;)

Fun Fact:
In the Sonic lore, the Tails doll is supposed to be a robot made by Eggman. Since there were other robot versions of Sonic and Knuckles in Sonic R, I think they needed one to fit with Tails to complete the trio. Or atleast, that's my reasoning for them making them.
Also you can see more of the Tails doll and Metal Knuckles in the Archie Comics. :)
