You’ve done this before! Every time I have the opportunity to do this, I just grab a new pair of skids that cost me around $20 on repairs.
Flips I’ve been saving these…have yet to use it 🤣
I have ocd issues…I would have cut those ears off so it’s flat and then paint it.
    That’s why $20 seems more appealing 🤣🤣🤣🤣
    Love proper hardware! Great fix!
Like the Tygon tube tip…I just make a mess

Kenny - great fix on the skid - but we need to have a talk about the shop. I'll schedule a session together with Bruce. 🙂

Thanks for watching and using some of my tricks! The old Ariens are round basket so a retaining wall comes in handy!

I find it easier to use my 48oz ball pein hammer (3lb) because it has a much longer handle and you can tap with more umph than a short handled hammer. Good work.

When I was at Jim Condon’s place a while back he had a manual metal brake from Eastwood Company I wonder if it would work on these skid shoes? I’ll try to find the link.

@@KensSmallEngineRepair That looked like at least 1/8th thick, you would need a fair brake to bend it.
