I had a 2002, this is a few years older. Also, there is no need for that plastic shovel. Look at the size of the auger and impeller and chute, those things don't clog. You may want to put an an eye-bolt on the chute rotation shaft, attached on the motor bracket below. That keeps the shaft from moving too much, because when it moves a lot it also moves the gear on the end of it, eventually stripping out the nylon chute gear. Since it engages better then you can also keep the rotation tension nut looser which makes it a little easier to use. Oh, and it's pronounced like "Aaron's". Nice unit that should serve you well.

Good video. I just picked up an older 824. I was wondering where did you get the cleaning tool?

I actually just picked one up for $150 too. It runs well too. I’m planning on fixing it up a little and selling it cuz it’s too big for what I need. How much do you think it’s worth in fair condition?

Prob 400 ish if the disc drive is in really good shape, I’d personally keep it just because there really well made blowers and the engines are really reliable. I still have mine and works awesome with general maintenance over the years
