  • Had a BLAST recording this interview with Jeremie Drapeau. My hope is that his perspective of recently diving into recovery of Binge Eating Disorder can give a lot of viewers / listeners hope that recovery, in this specific circumstance, IS POSSIBLE
In this interview Jeremie gives not only his story of what a lifelong battle with binge eating looks like, but he also gives advice that's helped him step into a healthy relationship with food
I think Jeremie's story is INCREDIBLY important.. my personal perspective and experience rotates around Anorexia specifically, and while there is definitely crossover in how people experience eating disorders in general, I think bringing on specific perspectives and stories from people who have been in these areas of eating disorders (like Binge Eating) can help offer up insight and perspective that I can't offer myself
Jeremie's story with binge eating is one that I know many people who will be watching this share. I've had many people message me asking about recovering from binge eating specifically... In the end, I really hope this interview and Jeremie's story in general speaks directly to you and gives you something new. Insight, perspective, anything to push you to that next level of recovery (however that looks for you, and wherever you're coming from)
Whether it's binge eating, anorexia, bulimia, orthorexia or ALL of the above.. I hope Jeremie's story gives you one thing: HOPE.
If you have any questions at all for Jeremie or myself, feel 100% free to drop them in the comments below. We'll be as active as we can in keeping an eye on them all :)

Car Convos with Cam! That is my suggestion, sounds like a good series :)
Although I'm a woman, I really appreciate that you also talk about men with E.D and not just about anorexia, but also bulimia and binge eating.
Thank you for teaching other and myself ( I had anorexia binge-purge sub type, but I can relate to alot of what Jeremie talked about) xx

can jeremie drapeau or any other binge eaters shares their health issues when they binged frequently till they reach a point whereby they lost their hunger and full cues? how did he manage that for subsequent eating? what are the subsequent meals like? what did he do and how long does it takes for his cues to come back after stabilising with the health complications? if anyone have similar binge eating phases experiences or have watched anyone shared this part onlone please do share! no seeking medical advise just want to hear others stories for this part as this is rarely talked abt or cant be found somehow. tyvm!

These videos should be called "Cam-Versations!?" How about that? A man called gatis does these types of videos on recovery from a vegan diet. Veganism is too extreme for me its an ED trigger. You should check them out. I can send you the link if you like? I can relate to Jeremie's story, as i went from an eating disorder to refeeding to overeating/binge eating. Sugar is addictive. Its something that ive never ever been able to give up. And i have a lot of will power. I gave it up for three months and went straight back to eating it again. One day someone will prove how bad it is, and how much it is put in food. We have a sugar tax here, thankfully food and beverages are now less sweet again, it does make a difference. Those sort of descitions lie with the manufacturers, not the individual, they make the products and lobby the government to keep there products and let them advertise at people, and like mental health, everyone then wonders why everyone is sick? They dont direct their resources, money, or support in the right places. Alcohol is sugar, but no one ever banned that did they? Its too late now. Sugar feeds cancer cells. Does it activate it in the body when its dormant? Who knows. At least finally people are having "camverations" about all these issues now, because were not going to move foward if we dont know whats wrong, and those tools arnt already in place. There ill get off my ranting podium now lol
