    That's a brilliant thing you have done Chris. Well done. I'm sure the little guy will be happy in his new home with you. I rescued a goldfish last year. She had been on her own in a tiny tank . She seemed to me, to be very happy when introduced to my pond and other fish. She has grown a lot since then and really settled down well. I'm looking forward to seeing more videos of your sturgeon. 😊

    Not all heroes wear capes - some wear Fancy Goldfish Fanatics t-shirts!!
    You are a truly kind human being. Much respect and love for going out on a limb and saving two fish, when a lot of people wouldn’t bother 🫶

    Hi. Just came across your channel. I have 2, 3ft + Siberian long nose sturgeon. 1, 3ft toffee sturgeon and 1 sterlet in my 6000gallon pond. They need hight oxygen levels, 50% protein food. Be nice to see him/her grow 👍 + new subscriber 👍

    I love the plant pot you have in the middle, wanting to do the same thing. How do I know which plant pots would be safe to use in my aquarium? Also what plant have you got in yours?

      This video will help explain more. I just made sure the pot was well rinsed. Terracotta seems to be the best material to use.

      My air pump is a little noisy as it it made for a koi pond so might not be very suitable. Eheim one the fluval ones are good though

    Sturgeon require 2-3% of their body weight, and a Siberian that’s 39 inches - 54 inches is considered a large specimen.

    Sturgeon do not pass on parasites you will have no issues with that, food must be very high protein 49%. To qt him a quick salt dip would be fine.

      How does a fish not pass on parasites?

    • @MyJapaneseGarden5
      @MyJapaneseGarden5 Před 4 měsíci

      @@Gainzster Because sturgeon suffer from very few issues thats why they rarely pass anything on . Trust me i have large and small sturgeon and sterlets , if in doubt see sturgeon expert Marc Addey
