      Grind one side of the pulley flat, place it on the motor shaft with loctite about 1.5 mm from motor mount and hope it stays on. Shaft doesn't span the full width of the pulley. Original Lacroix Hypertruck mounts

      These are Bioboard 138kv 65100's. There's a lot more to the speed equation than motor choice. Gearing, voltage, battery configuration, motor kv, current settings, duty cycle settings, etc. need to be taken into account.

    • @wiggpickle

      It's hard to say. This board has done 55 without it on a less precise setup, so it's not neccessary. I like to think of it as good insurance to an already dialed setup. It's kinda like a binding, once riding with it, I don't like riding without it.

    What do you think of the stooge trucks?

    • @wiggpickle
      @wiggpickle  Před rokem

      I think they're good for racing, but lack in other respects. The idea of a 3 link system is good, but they use generic parts where I believe proprietary parts should be implemented. They've come a long way and made good changes over time, but there is still room for improvement.

  • @Esk8FattyXLR

    Guarantee you have rubbing issues on the sidewall of that fatty TIRE.
    Look at the fatty (200x75) TIRE after several rides, you'll see either belt rubbing and/or (scarier) motor gear cutting into the fatty tire. It's damn near impossible to get fatty tires to be safe with belt drive. You need geardrive to make them fit properly. It looks like you ahve clearance, until you go high speed and it tires changes shape or tire widens as you take a high G curve.

    • @wiggpickle

      @Esk8FattyXLR Před 10 měsíci

      @wiggpickle I hope so! Look closely at the inside wall of the tire where the belt and motor gear meet. I honestly don't know how it's possible to not get them to rub on belt drives. I tried everything. I'm going gear drives soon and that will resolve it.

    • @wiggpickle

      These 'risers' are actually wedges. They're used to lower the angle of the rear truck to increase high speed stability. It's a trade off for low speed maneuverability. I don't get into specifics of my board setup for the sole reason of not wanting people to get hurt.
