Hello sir thank you very much for your video regarding the exhaust pipe that BMW 740! . I have a BMW 2019 740i I’ve bought it seen August but 2 weeks ago I found out that one of my exhaust pipe no smoke was coming out of it , I was worried about that, I call the dealer where I’ve bought my car and I describe what I’ve noticed about 2 weeks now . The told me that my car was not supposed to do that unless I’m on the highway and the actuator will open . I was worried and I said I just don’t believe it . I went on CZcams I saw your video I went back to my car and looked at through the exhaust pipe then I saw the actuator . Now I have no worries anymore. Thank very much for your video. It’s really helpful 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome glad this helped!
Thanks for the tip. I can confirm that on 550i F10 from 2010 this worked just like described: Connecting both hoses to t-shaped pipe connector. Now the valve is remains open.
Awesome good to know. Thanks for letting us know.
I have the Same car , love it 💯

Your car definitely has the correct valve for this to work. Not to sure where it’s located on your model. Do a little research & if no luck let me know & I’ll see what I can find.
I have bmw 740 li 2008 model
Is it poss in that car
Hi we‘rr i find the actuator for a x6m 2018?
Hey buddy have you thought of installing an exhaust System on your highlander? If not do you know of one that can be bolt on?
Thank you.
Not on a Highlander, it’s a V6 they just wouldn’t sound good. It would make it sound like those annoying Honda’s with those big mufflers.
Can this be done with a bmw x5. 2015
Where can I buy the piece?

WHere is this actuator for a 2019 xi ??
I know how it feels to be desperate for attention. I've tried everything, too.
Recently scored a cherry Toyota Corolla - 2003. Straight-piped and totally pimped it.
The babes have taken note. And, quite a few dudes.
Hoping to sew some wild oats. I'll keep the community posted on any success.
I have a 2013 BMW X6 35i where is mine? Thanks
Firstly thank you for this helpful video and I’ve just tried it on my 2010 750Li. The drive is much better now, however my exhaust sound hasn’t changed much and don’t have any of that nice bang sound. Any suggestions?
My suggestion would be to eliminate some of the cars resonators it has. That really cuts down the noise you want.
The drive is much better “now” but the exhaust sound hasn’t changed?… 😂 This doesn’t improve the way your car drives, it changes the exhaust note. 🙄
This mod permanently closes the exhaust valve.
The controller allows an Vaccum leak at certain RPM to operate the valved system.
In order to work leave the Source Vaccum line on the bottom and remove the Left Vaccum like line that runs straight to the Vavle the atmospheric pressure holds it open.
No engine light.
Simply
Heyy! Is this process possible for a 2020 228i bmw gran coupe? I checked in the trunk and it was quite difficult to find. I might not have it, idk?

Where is the actuator on a 2015 BMW 650 I grand Coupe X Drive
Hi, would this work for a 2022 x5? Thanks!
No, this will not. I have 2021 X5, and ours have a electronic actuator system.
Hey I have a 2011 750 f02 quick question did you notice a difference with driving experience related to back pressure? Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought those Vaccum lines work alongside the turbo wastegate? Any lag or loss of torque due to back pressure?
Well all this mod is doing is permanently closing the valve.
I tried it, Easy way to verify is look down the exhaust tip.
This runs a direct vacuum source straight to the valve.
(Not ideal).
Just remove the left Vaccum line to the controller and it actually works!
I have a 2014 4 series 428i where is mine?
I’m truly asking for help been trying to figure out where it is on my 2014 428i but can’t find it please help. All I want is more sound.
Unfortunately this only works on the BMWs with the vacuum controlled valve your cars has a electronic controlled one.
hey man great video ! i have a 2003 325i would this work for me?
No
Hey mate, Have you looked at your exhaust to see if it has a Valve on the backbox/exhaust tips?
Will this work on a 2013 750i xdrive?

Will do I’ll find out this weekend how you can get some great sound out of it.
does the car need to be on or off when doing this? thank you
Preferably off to not cause any vacuum faults
I Have a BWM X5 2014
I don’t see valves. That means I can’t do it at all?
Will this work on a 2020 X7 40i?
You know I’m not sure I’ll have to double check for you
I have a 2013 BMW X1 with twin turbo. Is this possible for my car???
Should be the same setup.
@@JJBanuelos thank you so much
@@Dasha-hv3zu did you do this on your car? If so what were the results? I have the same car and am thinking about doing it
2022 X7 M50i
Its posible for 540i 2018?
Possibly if it has this same setup which it might
Will this work on 2011 BMW X3
Pretty sure it will, I can look it up for you
Does this work on a 650i
Check the back of the car and look for a valve and read my most recent comment because it's simpler to do than this. This will actually permanently shut the valve doing it this way.
It’s possible on 420i Engine N20??
Firstly check the boot or (truck)
Secondly I've commented this before but anyway.
I tested this and immediately realised this just permanently closes the valve... Constant vacuum to the valve
In order to work just remove the side vacuum line to the controller and leave the bottom one.
Hello, I have a '12 f02 with the mufflers chopped. I want it a little bit louder without being super loud (i.e charger scat pack). Would this do the trick?
No 😲 go to a local muffler shop have them do a resonator delete and weld a 3inch pipe all the way back with some nice tips bammm mine sounds like a 🐉🐲 dragon
Only cost me 160$ for the delete and pipe and 97 for tips I got nice dual burnt tips welded on
@@jcoach3064 can you post a video? I have a f01 13 B7 and can’t decide what to do

@@MrHustleSwag so im currently building a super sleeper E39 530i 01' next is coilovers and then a m50 manifold swap then a supercharger kit but just go to my channel got some clips of the exhaust sound from when I fist got the car and put catless headers in and complete straight piped then when i put in the vibrant resonator youll then the stage 2 tune
What are these small barb things exactly called?
Vacuum tubing connectors. Automotive based
@@JJBanuelos thanks mate and the diameter?
OK so... I've commented this before but people need to realise this won't work.

Will this work on 2017 x4 m40i
If it has this similar setup then yes it should work the same way
@@JJBanuelos I looked in the trunk driver side and the only thing that is there is the stereo amp
Hey I have BMW X5 2004 3.oi
OK so...
I tested this and immediately realised this just permanently closes the valve... Supplying constant vacuum to the valve.
In order to work just remove the side vacuum line to the controller and leave the bottom one.
Hello, you removed the hose facing the side and capped it with something or left it? And kept the bottom one plugged into the controller?
@@rekairinger7700 Unplug the left one that runs directly to the valve there's no need to cap the line to the valve because the whole point is that atmospheric pressure is needed in the line to hold it open.
The Bottom vacuum line comes directly from the source of the vacuum in the engine bay. Quick test is when you plug this one you can here the atmospheric pressure entering back in. So just leave this one connected.
@@HARDMAN999 so leave bottom connected and the side one just hanging loose?
Will this work on a 2007 bmw 328i?

I commented this on most posts.
If you find my original comment and like it it'd be great for people in the future to find this information. Cheers
@@HARDMAN999 Hi so do you have any pictures of where the vacuum line is.
I don't think this will work on mine because I don"t think i have a valve in the muffler.
@@AL-xk8mj It's in the left side of my boot/truck for my 330i
BNW???
Hello where would it be on a 2021 BMW X5 i40 XDrive?
Not sure but if it has the same actuators on the muffler it should work the same way
Does it work on a 650i ???
Should if it has the exhaust valves similar to these
@@JJBanuelos 👍👍
Just want to inform you when I tried this I realised that it's just allowing permanent vaccum to the exhaust which actually fully closes the valve.
Hi there I got a bmw X3
Could you please help me out
What year?
😁
Where is this on 2025 bmw x5 m 40
That seemed like it did nothing 😂
I literally heard no difference 🤔
in person and in the car you will for sure hear a difference in depth
Will this work on a 2021 320i
I have 2017 x4 m40i and can’t seem to locate the exhaust vac hose to do this mod any help is greatly appreciated
Most BMWs have this controller but you should read my comment.
I tried this and instead of bridging the two vacuum line.
All you you need to do remove the left Vaccum line on the controller that is directly connected to the valve. So the atmospheric pressure overcomes the dome pressure in the actuator that controllers the valve.
No engine lights super.
Simple to try!
This video was just a waste of time.
Will this work on a 2013 320i?
Possibly not sure on the setup on those
