This video spans over the course of a month and has been pieced together with the best footage I have. Some of the footage was deleted by accident.
Thank you for posting all this stuff. Your woprk is stellar. I am excited to see this bike. I can remember drooling over a picture of the 86 dymond bike for years as a kid wishing I could afford any dirt bike.
Thanks so much Kyle. It's been a challenge to get this bike built. Seems like it always throws me a curve ball when I think it's almost done
Great channel! Love the bikes you are working on! Keep it up!
Sanding is fun! LOL Got my '86 tank looking pretty good using up to 800 grit so far. Will move up to 1000 or 2000 then buff it soon.
Thanks for posting these, gonna be doing my forks soon too. Cheers
So much fun, lol. Glad to hear I'm not alone on this.
I just spent 12+ hours on my 1982 KX80 gas tank. It is not my favorite part. I put it off on mine too. The buffing took forever to get the shine back to like new.
Dang that's a long time, but worth it in the end!
For the front fork studs, which end goes into the fork? The end with more threads or the one with less?
