How unfortunate is BP to be held in China? It used to be that Olympics was only in Greece but now it is all over the world and IMO, it is better. Mind you, ballroom dancing should not be in Olympics.
Why do all male Latin dancers dress exactly the same for every performance...head to toe black with baggy pants, so every male dancer looks exactly like all the others on the dance floor?
Em Hullum Well in my view I think it as a way to bring more attention to the female partner, through standardization/uniform. You can think of the males as the frame and the females the flower. The 'frames' bring out the 'flowers' full beauty and potential when performing! ^^
Black is the dancers colour because it doesn't show sweat marks as much, and the men sweat a lot more than the women. Men also don't want to peacock their outfits in ridiculous colours, because they are to look masculine and not try to outshine their partners outfit. They either wear white or black, but with fake tan and sweat more often than not they wear black.
