We’re Matt & Karla, a Canadian couple with two totally different backgrounds.
Matt is the “quintessentially Canadian”, born under the northern lights in Northern Alberta with family all over the country, whereas Karla is originally from Mexico City, bringing a totally fresh perspective to a country she has fallen in love with.
Over the past 10 years, we have travelled to 42 countries spanning six continents, which has given us the expertise to plan amazing trips and find memorable experiences.
In 2017, we decided to explore our own massive backyard with Road to 150, a 150-day #roadtrip across #Canada, witnessing the beauty and diversity of this country and sharing our experiences through video, pictures, social media, and articles. Thank you for highlighting my hometown. I love my city. 👍🇨🇦😊👏 Born & raised here…59 years….60 years in November. The zoo is always one of my favourite places to visit. It never gets old. The seals are awesome! The U of A Botanical Gardens are spectacular. Manchester Square feels like a little bit of Europe in our city. Our river valley is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your days with us & thank you for highlighting the things to see & visit in our fair city. 👍😊👏🇨🇦

Ok so Karla is officially a Canadian now, she complained about the hot weather and then a day later she complained about the cold weather. Hahahahaha I loved the scooters but the Segways looked like much more fun. But going back to the scooter, I’d mount a detachable seat with a backrest. Like a small tractor seat, then you have the option to stand or sit. Edmonton looks beautiful but then again Karla was in the video and that was part of the beauty. Take care guys. Cheers!!!

Great to see your video of Edmonton... it just kind of a sore spot right now. Had an Uncle I really liked that passed away that lived just down the road from the Zoo. Edmonton and Uncle were the same thing to me... will be so different next time we get there...
