I'm a short portly gentleman and I recently bought my first sweater vest. Well, the next day I went out and bought two more! I find that they split the arms apart from the torso which is very slimming and makes me look taller. I highly recommend anyone else with my build try these out.

It was a brown and green color, brown patterned button up shirt, and some blue shorts, with my tall socks and brown shoes. It was definitely a look. During rehearsals I got to wear it with cowboy boots which was always fun cause they matched the sweater vest
I love how “academia aesthetic” means something in fashion that has nothing to do with how we (professors) actually dress. Most days I wear a hoodie and skinny jeans to work.
