  • A quick scene involving Michael Morbius and childhood friend, Lucien who was referred to as Milo by Morbius.
I rescored the scene using, 'The Bonds of Sacrifice' a beautiful track from the brilliant composer, Rob Lane, one of the three composers for the TV series , Merlin. Fits rather well in my opinion...the melancholic vocals with Michaels look at 0:58 with his failure to save his friend.
Morbius is owned by Sony. For entertainment/educational purposes only. No money, 'Has' or ever 'Will be earned from this. Sony runs ads and their detection policy allows the video to stay up.

I felt very sad when he died...all he wanted in his life was to be normal with his best friend but he turned crazy

A sad truth. Milo saw Michael as the best thing he had in life.
It was this moment that, in my mind, is what swayed Michael’s mind about killings himself along with Milo.
Ever since he had become a vampire, all Michael could see himself as was a monster, nothing more, nothing less. You can even see it when he’s discussing with Martine about whether or not to use the serum; all he thinks he’s capable of is death.
It’s only when Milo tells him “you gave me my name…remember,” that he sees. Despite all he had done to Michael, he never saw him as a monster. He saw him as his brother, the man who changed his life, who made his troubled life feel like it had some meaning to it.
In this moment between brothers, Michael sees that even though he may be a living vampire, he doesn’t have to be doomed to be just a “monster.” He sees that even if you don’t think you are worthy of life, you may be just the one to give worth to another.
So he carries on, to make his curse worth it, to not let his guilt stop him from finishing his mission, to make his pain mean something for the many who still suffer.
For Nicholas. For Martine. For Milo.

For anyone who even cares why he didn’t use the lethal serum on himself like he said earlier, I think the deeper context of this scene explains it.
When Micheal became a Living Vampire, all he could see himself as was a monster, a curse, something that shouldn’t live. His guilt, you could say, was driving his actions at this point, and he saw no point of living as in his mind, he was more a destroyer than a healer.
It’s only when he’s laying there with his brother Milo, the cost of his mistakes, that it all changes for him. Milo, despite all his wrongdoings, told Micheal that his life turned around for the better the day he gave Milo his name; a name not given to him like Lucien Crown by people he barely knew, but one by someone who saw him struggling, and refused to let that be all his life was. To give him more than he ever thought was possible.
Micheal’s journey in this film in my opinion, is one of self-discovery. From being a man who only knows pain and hatred, to grappling with his mistakes and what they cost, to seeing that even when you think you don’t deserve life, it just may be you that could change another, even when you least expect it.
So in the end, he doesn’t accept death, he doesn’t let it overcome him despite everything. He chooses to live, to own up to his mistakes, to take the monster in him and use it against the wicked, to fight to change lives for the better when even every one of them is against him.
    To overcome evil with good.
